Things ended up about where I feared.
After an endoscopy/colonoscopy failed to turn up any reasons why I might not be absorbing iron (I've never donated blood either), we did a couple IV iron infusions.
Now my hematocrit is up to 50.5 and my hematologist is recommending I stop TRT. I may...
Been awhile but wanted to offer an update.
The itching actually got worse (to the point that it started feeling like little ant bites, even causing me to twitch at times) and always intensified at night.
My endo sent me to a neurologist who did some blood work and determined that I was both...
Search PubMed (or this board) for the keywords HCG and fertility. Print out a few of the results and show them to your doctor. I'm not saying clomid won't work (in fact, there's research to suggest it will), but there's likely a better way.
For instance:

Neuroendocrine and side effect profile of pramipexole, a new dopamine receptor agonist, in humans - PubMed
Pramipexole did in fact reduce prolactin levels.
Endo doesn't think it has anything to do with the test, especially since my numbers are fine, but we're switching me to Cypionate to see if perhaps it was the sesame oil in the Enanthate.
I'll let you all know.
Appreciate the replies, guys.
Hematocrit was my #1 suspect as well. But I went back and checked my level just before starting TRT and it was . . . 44.1% Which means I've actually gone slightly down (44.1% vs 43.7%). I suppose I could stop by the Red Cross and give some blood, just to see if it...
I've got a call in with my endo, but I figured I'd pick some brains here as well.
About a month into TRT (100mg Test Enanthate per week), I started itching. No rash. No specific location. Just general itching. It'll be my earlobe one moment, my butt cheek the next. When it's bad, it's hard to...
