I'm putting my elevated hematocrit down to changing from topical to IM injection a year or so ago. Just scheduled my therapeutic phlebotomy for every 3 months starting in July.

phlebotomies every month? Does that lower ferritin and iron levels? How do you manage this?

I agree, I thought at the most every quarter, certainly not every two months. Don't smoke, and no sleep apnea to the best of my knowledge.
