I was on a similar HCG and GonalF protocol. I actually felt better on it than I did on Nebido. Took a few years, but I finally got my wife pregnant on this protocol. We had the baby, I stayed on the protocol and she got pregnant again shortly after.
I thought I would give a quick update here. In July 2021, 5 months after my last post in Feb 21, when my total sperm was only 5.75, my wife became pregnant. We had a healthy boy in early 2022. I remained on the same HCG and FSH protocol following his birth. 9 months later, my wife got pregnant...
Hi Kev,
Thanks for the reply. If you read further down you'll see I've tried the protocol with HCG and it's not working well enough to get my partner pregnant after over 2 years. So I need to see if there are other options before I look into IVF
Hi folks I thought I would update on my journey.
After 2.5 years on HCG and FSH my sperm numbers are still way to low to conceive naturally.
The results of my latest sperm test are very poor. In a previous post about I said it was 3 million per ml but this is incorrect it was 3 million total...
Yes 3 million per ml, 9 million total. We didn't get into the specifics of the other parameters but the endo said all other parameters were ok and in range.
I thought I would update on my progress.
I had a sperm count done in May, which would be 10 months since I went on HCG mono and 6 months since I went on FSH (no test during that period) and my sperm count has gone from virtually 0 in January to 3 million in May. So although it's still very low...
So I was with my endo today, she said to continue the current protocol of 800 HCG and 75iu X3 times weekly for now. My test levels were good, Estrogen, LH, FSH were fine.
The sperm test result said zero sperm count, but then a note saying that some sperm were visible. So it looks like we're...
I didn't refrigerate my HCG for the first couple of months. I was told at the time I didn't have to. I do now though.
That's encouraging to hear other men took up to two years to produce sperm again. I'd imagine with me it will take a while to get sperm producing again given I've been on trt...
No never used HCG. Never knew anything about it to be honest. Was put on TRT to get puberty started and was happy with the results so had no reason to even know what HCG was at the time. Was told during my yearly endo visits that everything was fine, I felt fine and that if I wanted kids to let...
Thought I'd post an update on where I'm at now. I added FSH to my protocol in October, so now I'm taking 75iu FSH X3 weekly and 800 HCG x3 weeky. I feel good bit libido isn't great. Getting blooss done next week.
Anyway I did a sperm test at the end of January, 4 months after starting the HCG...
Thanks for the replies. I'm aware HCG mono isn't the best option, my Endo said he'd add FSH a few months down the line if we need it (why not just add it now!?). But I can wait. My main concern is how I feel, I feel like crap and don't want to spend months like this
Just an update. In going back to my Endo next week to be shown how to use the HCG shot.
It's now 14 weeks since my last nebido shot (was getting a shot every ten weeks previously) and I feel like total crap now. I've no energy, very irritable and feeling pretty depressed about everything. I...
I'm 34, thinning on top, on trt 13 years. I'm in Europe and will be traveling to Poland to get a hair transplant next year. That could be an option worth looking in to, some doctors produce fantastic results
Ye this is what I wanted as I had read up on it but my Endo insisted I drop the test and do HCG only, adding FSH a few months down the road if needed. He said HCG will give me enough test but I'm worried it won't and I'm in for a tough few months.
Is it likely coming off the test and using HCG...
