My doctor told me I shouldn't get on TRT at age 50 because it increased the risk of Ischemic Heart Failure. Apparently he was basing this on one study that was done on men over 60, many of who had existing health conditions, including heart disease.
It not uncommon for the longevity-obsessed crowd to look emaciated, as calorie restriction is a good way to increase life span. Personally, I'd rather live an average life span which being relatively strong and healthy than live to 100 while being skinny and frail.
The standard LCMS test I had for testosterone didn't appear to pick up the nandrolone I was taking. Results would have definitely been higher if it did.
