A man in his mid 40’s, dealing with the aftermath of several spinal surgeries, and still in need of treatment but doctors either refuse follow ups or are of no help.

I have had 3 spine surgeries (including. 2-level fusion at lumbar level) and 1 on the hip. I have paralysis of several parts of my R side limbs, neurological condition due to spinal cord damage that 99% of doctors and surgeons have a clue or that they are related (including health of pelvic floor area). So this make dialing in a HRT protocol very challenging since what is the issue or came first? Low-T or pudendal nerve compression? Or S1 root still being compressed (evidenced by image labs and EMG/NCV studies showing muscle and nerve deterioration of my R limbs)? In the case of S2 - S4 issues, I would start displaying skin discoloration and burning sensation…. Which I have on my R foot, and to be not so direct, at the general groin area. Of course, even with optimal hormonal levels, given the past (or neglected?) spinal cord damage tends to cause sexual performance issues, unfortunately. Oh, and the burning thing, yeah… it makes using injectables ED medicines impossible. So there is that too.

With that out of the way, as before, my goals are slightly different but a bit of the same: being stable enough to restore optimal levels of energy, health and ability to lift weights and exercise.

I am a scientist, or used to be; naturally curious, read scientific literature in many fields for fun. I used to enjoy exercising, dating is in the past as I got married a few years back, and I still enjoy playing the guitar.
