I am a 57 year old white male (birthdate wrong in profile). I am 5'11". I have been on testosterone replacement therapy for 9 years; initially, dosed at 0.5 cc twice weekly, but for the past year it was 1.0 cc twice weekly. Within the last year, my trainer recommended Tren for bulk. I did one 6-week cycle but stopped after side effects were experienced. We then switched to Anavar for estrogen blocking. I then switched to a doctor who specializes in steroid therapy and he put me on a different steroid (can't remember name) and an estrogen blocker when I experienced gynocomastia. My PSA shot up, so the doctor stopped the steroid and recommended I drop back to 0.9 cc twice weekly. My PSA levels droppped again, but I am experiencing gynocomastia still. I am currently also taking Exemestane for estrogen blocking. The doctor also recommended HCG (60 units weekly). I also have acid reflux and am taking Pantoprazole (40mg) daily.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
