Because of the short half-life, some people dip low enough overnight that it makes it hard to get out of bed in the morning. I prefer to just take a small dose at night to get me through to the AM.
Yes, the cream is very powerful. I had the same experience, and gradually reduced my dose down to AM: 1 click (50mg) scrotum / 1 click upper inner thighs, PM: 1/2 click scrotum / 1/2 click upper inner thighs. This puts my total T around 1100 and Free T around 45. Doing the lower dose at night...
Unless you have certain cancers, you really don't need an AI. For those that have difficulty reducing or stopping AI, it's probably because the way you are dosing your T is causing hormone spikes that are causing you to not feel well. The AI may mask the spikes, but it isn't actually helping...
Which compounding pharmacy was your cream from? Not all are equal when it comes to T cream. One of the Drs who regularly prescribes T cream requires the compounding pharmacies he uses to submit to 3rd party testing before he will use on his patients.
High dose l-arginine, sunflower lecithin, and prostate pmg by standard process will increase volume significantly. Your low energy is likely tied to your e2 level being a bit low. Might try shaving a little more of your AI dose, or getting off the AI entirely.
Do you know if this is still the case with men on transscrotal T cream protocols, where the DHT can be much higher than with injections? I've heard this treatment is becoming more popular, but haven't seen how many of these men still have a full head of hair.
Those on very safe, even doses of T but still having anxiety from e2 should look into the COMT++ genetic polymorphism. There's a good chance you have it. It causes your metabolism of estradiol (as well as dopamine, epinephrine, norepinephrine) to be up to 300% slower.
This happens to me whenever my e2 is too low. I'm still on a tiny bit of AI due to genetic issues, but this is one way I can always tell when my e2 has gone too low. Your e2 looks to be at a healthy level though, so you probably need higher or more frequent HCG.
Your body is just adjusting. When I started T shots it was like fireworks were going off in my head for the first week or two, tons of random boners. I think it has to do with a surge of neurotransmitters, since T stimulates production of them and your body isn't used to it.
