Clomid Success Story: 18 Month Follow-Up
I apologize for the delay in getting this out. I kind of forgot about everything. Maybe this is why they're called "Clomid Unicorns"...once things are going well, you don't post as much.
Anyways, the link above is to my last thread (and there's...
Sorry for the SUPER late response on these.
Nah, but I actually just started a low dose of an SSRI about 4 weeks ago.
Diet is high protein, high fiber, low-ish carbs, medium fat. Weekend involves a cheat meal or two and some beers. GI system works great.

Clomid Success Story Continued: 9 month Follow-Up
Hello again,
The link above also links to all of my previous threads from the beginning of my journey here.
At my last appointment back in August I discussed my high levels of testosterone, specifically we discussed my now increased levels...
Oops, forgot to answer a few of your questions.
35 years old.
Have not tried lowering the dose to 25 mg 3x/week. Currently on 50 mg 2x/week, we'll discuss lowering it this week, but I'm going to ask to just come off it at this point. Unless that would be a bad thing? If anything I feel...
It's not negative, but I also don't agree.
Clomid, for me personally, has been fairly innocuous, even if I HAD to take it forever it wouldn't matter. I would consider it a success if it makes one feel better, unless you have horrible side effects. I don't experience side effects, none that...
One caveat... yesterday was my first test done fasted. I have read non fasted tests can give lower testosterone results. But I can't imagine that would cause a 200 point swing.
Hi everyone,
Sorry for the delay, now I sort of know why "Clomid unicorns" seem to be unicorns, because once it works for you and it doesn't need tweaking...well, you don't really keep up with updates as much. People come to these forums looking for help, but that's likely true of most forums...
Ah yes, I meant 53, haha. 153 would likely be a record of some sort.
Fixed, thanks!
It was <5 (undetectable by the test I belive it said). I asked and they said it's the sensitive test, but I have my doubts based on numbers I've seen here.
But yes, my E2 is low. I'm very much a Clomid...
I met with the endocrinologist last week for my five month follow-up.
He is keeping me on Clomid (same dose, 50 mg M/W/F) until January. At that point I'll have a follow-up MRI of my pituatary gland, blood work, and then a discussion about slowly tapering off of Clomid.
I have also been...
Thank you for the kind words. This forum actually played a part in helping me decide to stick with the more conversative route and give Clomid a real shot (and weight gain).
Dr. Saya, I believe you commented on one of my posts and said I should try it first. And the article on your "unicorns"...
I've been on 50 mg every M/W/F for 5 months.
Clomid alone did help boost my overall testosterone from 158 to 425, but calculated free T only went from 20 to 52.
Those numbers jumped to 678 and 105 respectively at the same dose of Clomid, but another 16 lbs. of fat and muscle (two more inches...
Will do! My follow-up is in about a week and a half, I'll check back in after that. As I said, I'd like to taper off the Clomid and maybe even lose a few lbs. and see what happens. I'm sure there's a middle ground in terms of body fat and weight.
At least now I know what the issue was (at...

Interesting, I'm on 50 mg 3x/week, 34 years old. I just had my two month follow-up (thread linked above). I am only on Clomid though, no DHEA or DIM though.
I noticed the same thing in regards to energy, and...
