Tadalafil - Capsules vs Oral Dissolvable

I take daily low dose tadalafil as part of my protocol and have been very happy with it. I take one 3mg capsule every morning upon waking up.

Do any of you have experience using both capsules and oral dissolvable tablets? I was told that one advantage of the ODTs is that they are absorbed into the bloodstream and therefore bypass the liver.

In terms of effect, I'm wondering if ODTs would be a good approach for someone like me who uses Tadalafil at a daily maintenance dose vs someone who might use it specifically in advance of sexual activity?

I am getting ready to try the ODT. The 5mg daily tankets tore my stomach up, bad acid reflux. Dr Calkins suggested ODT, dissolve in mouth and by pass stomach.

You will still get reflux. It may be worse if more gets in your system by a more efficient delivery method. The more that gets in the more reflux. You can try magnesium and see if it helps the reflux.

I like the inexpensive brands from India pharmacies. For my magnesium, I've been drinking magnesium water. It took away my wife's nightly leg cramps and it's so inexpensive to make.

I tried that but my mistake was that I used a plastic vial and a lot of the stuff got glued to the sides on top of the liquid. I´ll guess I should use a non plastic vial.

Okay, good to know. I have been doing this with my anastrazole for four years and I have used the same glass bottle.

You can dissolve under the tongue any form of the drug, the tablets will work sublingual if you do it that way. A specific sublingual preparation might dissolve faster, or taste better, but the principle is unchanged. Nash's vodka dissolve works very well, too, and you can do that under the tongue as well. Point being there's no need if there's a price premium for a sublingual preparation, that you pay the added cost.

I haven’t shopped around, my 75mg odt tabs are $12 @ from my compounding pharmacy. So at 5mg/day I’m paying 80 cents per day. That seems reasonable, but I’m open to paying less if I can get a better deal from an Indian pharmacy.

Which pharm are you using may I ask?

I actually dissolve my 75mg odt cialis in vodka and dispense 5mg daily. Works like a charm.
Are you using Cialis for ED or as general health on TRT? I recently started Cialis to see if it would help lower my BP some. I don’t have ED and also taking 5mg per day. Not sure if this is a good dose for me.

For general health benefits. I have always had borderline bp issues. The 5mg/day has done a great job of lowering my bp a decent amount. Other benefits are better pumps in the gym, more veins and although I wasn’t having erection issues, my erections are now like they were when I was a young man.

Awesome, I’ll stay with the same dose and see. How long did it take to see changes in BP?
Thanks.
