Random pain and itching veins

Buy Lab Tests Online
I just wanted to see if anyone has any ideas... For the past two days I have been having a weird pain almost like someone scratched me hard and a mild itch and it is always over large surface veins. It doesn't last long and it seems to jump around. Left forearm, right bicep, calf muscles, inner thigh...and always at a visible vein.

With the random jumping around I doubt it is a clot, but does it sound like an infection , something random or anything else to you guys? I'm on t cream 10mg a day if that means anything.

Thanks

I think this means something rather than nothing. It could be something as simple as a sudden allergic reaction to a medication or antibiotic or something a little more serious such as an immune system or blood disorder. I've had the same symptoms along with a rash that meant I suddenly developed an allergy to penicillin. If the sensations were only in your legs it could be varicose veins which do itch. Since it's in other extremities you can rule that one out. The skin is a really interesting organ that can give hints that there are serious issues going on below it. I've had Reynauds Syndrome that is characterized by intense redness, burning, swelling and itching when making the transition from a cold to warm environment. Such as being outside on a cold day and then suddenly entering a warm house. Reynauds is most commonly associated with those in the late stages of Lupus or, in very rare cases such as mine, those who are entering the beginning stages of AIDS. It is a sign that the immune system is starting to collapse. Please contact your doctor about this as I think he'd be very interested in what you've told us. While I don't think this involves a clot, he may want to schedule you for an ultrasound just in case. These are usually scheduled immediately so be ready to go when asked! Good luck and let us know what the Doc tells you.
