I was given two choices for treatment of low T:
Option 1:
Testosterone Cyp 200 mg/ml – 0.35 ml IM/SQ TWICE A WEEK (140 mg/week)
HCG 400 iu SQ 2x/week
Anastrozole 0.125mg 2x/week – h/o elevated E2, titrate on follow-up
Vitamin D3 5000 iu daily
Fish oil 3-4...
My first test results from LabCorp showed my total T very low (156), but free T was actually within the reference range, though on the low end (9.8 with ref range of 7.2 - 24.0). Is this unusual? Any thoughts as to why? It almost makes me question the accuracy of the lab test. And...
I just got my test results from LabCorp. Wondering why my total T level is so low but free T is in the low/normal range. Also, what do the very high DHEA and IGF-1 numbers mean? I still need to get a physical before I can set up a phone consultation with a doctor at Defy Medical.
