went to the ER and for the past month I've had hand numbness and loss of sensitivity and lightheadedness + vertigo with ringing in my right hear. not normal tinnitus, but loud ringing only in my right ear.

ER said I was fine, but it keeps getting worse. I got an x-ray in my neck and everything was fine so now I'm getting an MRI on my brain.

my hand numbness has progressed to pain in my hands and feet whenever I get my heart rate up from exercise, taking a hot shower, eating or drinking caffeine. its absolutely miserable, and even more miserable considering no doctor has even diagnosed me after over a month. Does anyone have any advice or thoughts on what might be going on with me?

These symptoms are nonspecific, the causes could be numerous, and therefore will be difficult for most doctors to diagnose.

The ER isn't a good place to diagnose medical conditions as they focus on keeping you alive and if you're expected to survive within the next 24 hours, they discharge you. You need specialist that can order more extensive testing.

Exercise, hot showers and eating all increase blood flow.

I am sorry to hear of your issues. These issues do kind of sound serious. If an ER with qualified doctors can't find the problem, I am not sure why you are asking here. Wait on the MRI and keep seeing doctors until you find out what is going on. Most likely you need to see a neurologist.

IMHO a neurologist would be a good option to start with. These symptoms could range from carpal tunnel, to spinal issues or ever cardiac problems. This is far beyond the scope of TRT and answers should come from a medical doctor. Perhaps you need to ask who ever is doing the MRI who you else can see? No one here is a doctor. You need better answers that people guessing that are not even qualified to guess.

Of course he should see a doctor, or even a series of doctors to try to investigate these complaints. I fully agree on that. You must have been to better doctors than I have if you think it's likely they'll have answers for him though. Generally, their diagnostics will be useful to rule out some of the worst case scenarios, but if he doesn't have some obvious neurodegenerative disease, cancer, etc, he's going to walk away with a shrug, and maybe a useless diagnosis like fibromyalgia.

So far you have some form of neuropathy (nerve damage) and maybe varicose veins (blood vessel damage).

Are you currently having any symptoms of an infection: stuffy nose, headaches, fevers, blisters etc?

Do you have muscle weakness in the numb hand or foot?

Seeing a Neurology doctor is a must but they are good only at very acute and dangerous conditions like strokes, Guillain-Barre Syndrome ...

When I read your symptoms my first thought is acoustic neuroma. Get your doctors to rule that out with some cat scans or such. The symptoms complex in this diagnosis is not always clear cut or textbook.

I'll add my two cents. You may want to consider a low carb diet with good probiotics. It is a much healthier way to eat and may help some of your symptoms. Good luck. I wish you well.

If you do go low carb make sure you add in a lot of non starchy healthy vegetables.

The EXACT same symptoms are happening to me, I mean the EXACT same symptoms.
I didn't go to the Dr and I just sat around trying to figure out out myself (which I'm not suggesting you do, please go see a Dr) and eventually everything leveled out after adjusting my doses BUT the caffeine thing and ear ringing I still get and it's super loud....
I used to drink a Dr pepper every morning with my pills to help me wake up, and would feel great, and now I can't even do that, I'm assuming it's the caffeine like you mentioned.
I wouldn't even know where to start but if you can afford it, start with the neurologist and a cardiologist.
PLEASE keep us updated, I'm curious, I never mentioned anything to anyone about my symptoms and kept it to myself, tbh I just wrote it off as side effects from the gear I'm using, and everyone I know thinks I'm a psycho anyways, so I just kept going on until it either got better or got worse, and thank God it got better.
Do you mind if I ask what you're taking and what does they are?
