What do you guys do for a living?

Just out of curiosity, wondering what you guys do for work?

I have worked 30 years offshore on oilrigs, working a 2 week offshore (away) 3 week Home leave rota, the 2 weeks offshore can be a pain but 3 weeks home leave is sure good for vacations.

recently North Sea rota's have changed to 3 weeks offshore / 3 weeks home leave, 3 weeks is far too long for me to be away so now at the age of 53, I have retired.

FOX1, wife is a nurse and I was a paramedic for a number of years, we looked at the rigs, I believe it was 2 on and 2 off at the time. Somewhere in AK, I do not remember exactly where. We stayed in Virginia, I am a landscape architect and have been for since graduating WVU in '86. Still basically enjoy what I do on a daily basis, some days are crap, but most are good. Been here long enough that when hunting season rolls around I am out of the office most days at2-3 and in the tree stand.
