Hey guys, this is my first post on here. 2 years ago this past February I had surgery for prostate cancer and underwent a radical prostatectomy, I'm 57 years old. Needless to say my sex life has been in the dumps. I've tried every pill out there and received minimal results, with the exception of some mighty bad headaches. Today I saw my urologist and I've finally agreed to try the injections that he has mentioned several times. I guess im afraid of injecting myself and then worried I want get the hardness I want. He has recommended I take trimix. I'm looking for some feedback of what guys in my situation recommend. I'm almost nervous to have sex I feel like a kid afraid it wont work and I will disappoint my wife. Is Trimix all that I read if is. Advice please

Sorry to hear about your prostatectomy.

Trimix WILL work. So have your wife waiting for you when you come home from the doctor's office. You will walk in with a hard on (assuming you don't live more than 1-2 hours away).

Your doctor will tell you to masturbate lightly before injecting. He or his nurse will show you how (tiny needle!)

Inject .2-.3 cc. and no more.

We are about to launch a password protected video to show guys how to inject.

Before you go see your doctor, be sure that you read EVERY post in this thread. I am proud to say this is the most complete information anywhere online about Trimix:

Penis Injections for Hard Erections: TRIMIX

dpaat once you get the correct dosage you and your wife will love it. Work with your doctor to get the correct dosage in the office before you try to use it at home. Once you have the correct dosage determined, try it when your wife is out of the house or out of the area, inject, get hard, masturbate and see how it feels so you won't have nerves and then go for it the next time she is home and you are ready. Many others will tell you their experiences and how good it is, but there is my advice.

Trust me Tri-Mix works. I had seed therapy for prostate cancer and was having trouble staying hard even with Cialis. Once you get set up with the right dosage your erections are like bullet proof.

Nelson, thank you for the feedback. somewhere on this site today I read a post about compounding pharmacies to help with the cost, I live near Augusta GA. Is this the way to go? I have no idea what to expect as far as cost goes. I've told my wife and she is as excited and nervous as I am. Can I expect a rigid erection? Sorry for so many questions...

Have your doctor fax the prescription to EmpowerRxPharmacy.com

(832) 678-4419

They will call you to verify address and credit card. I forgot what their latest price is but I am sure it is under $80 for 5 mls (which should last you for 20 sex acts)

They will send you syringes, alcohol pads, instructions, etc

Thanks baughts for the info, still nervous but will post again when the dr. prescribes. Tough topic to discuss with someone who hasn't been there.

Don't worry about being rigid enough to pleasure her, if the Doc has the dosage right, you will be steel hard and it will last far past your own orgasm

You wouldn't be normal if you weren't nervous. Tri-mix has a very high success rate and you have every right to expect things to go well. Don't be disappointed if it takes you a few uses to feel comfortable with it. You may want to keep some benadryl or another antihistamine handy to help reduce your erection when no longer needed. Just a minimal recommended dose of Benadryl is needed to bring things back to normal. I can usually count on a 3 1/2 to 4 hour erection which borders on a dangerous length of time. Also, it can get painful after a time. I have found backing off the original prescribed amount about 5-10% is my sweet spot...effective and wearing off in less than 4 hours. Also, I've found I need 15-30 minutes to reach full effectiveness, not the 10 minutes I had been told would be likely. With a little practice, I think you'll be glad you tried it. Hope to hear a good report.

Thank you Alan for the encouragement, I wish I had the trimix now. The anticipation is almost too much lol. Now for another question, I uploaded a pic yesterday but I dont see mine posted with my threads.

Double check your account settings for your pic.

You will get an erection on Trimix...trust me on that...just have your partner prepared as you can wear them out if they are not used to long insane sessions!

Question about syringe and dosing. On a 100 unit,1cc/1 ml insulin syringe dose each tick mark represents .01cc? If the prescribed beginning dose is .05 ml, is that 5 tick marks? Thanks in advance for any help.

Correct, but that seems like a very low dose.

Most common for Trimix is .20 ml.

Thanks Gene. The vial actually says .05-.20ml, was advised to start with the lowest dose. After reading through the threads went with .10 for first-time. Erection lasted about 6 stressful hours. The wife and I enjoyed it immensely for the first hour and half, then jokes about the next hour and half and then stressed out the rest of the time thinking about trip to ER. Tried the ice and exercise and then some Sudafed. I had about a 6 pack in me by then and didn't want to take to much. I will obviously try less next time and take higher dose of Sudafed. Will need to get one that I can sleep on.
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

I just inject .05 and I have erections that last 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours
