Raising testosterone with hcg:

I dabbled in T in late 2013 and quit cold turkey after reaching T levels of over 1100. I crashed and haven't recovered. My last level checked in a tick above 200. I'm interested in knowing if I could use hcg to raise my T levels enough to avoid going back to T. I can't know for sure but I think I'd feel fairly well at 500-600. Could this be achieved with hcg? I'm also considering wanting to become an older dad. That's the reason for the question about hcg versus testosterone.

If your HPTA has been shut down since 2013 you need a complete HPTA restart protocol prescribed by a well trained TRT Physician.

I don't know your age but it sounds like your middle aged. If so, HPTA will be hard to restart especially how long you have been shut down...it probably won't come back and if it does it won't be where you want it to be.

Find a good TRT Doc and discuss your options.

Agree with Gene, I doubt your test serum levels will sustain if/when you drop the HCG.

Like Gene said, get with a good physician, review your options, and also look deeper into the "BIG" picture with other areas that might also be out of balance, e.g., thyroid, adrenals, iron, mag, D3, etc....
