I went from 550 to 750 and dropped my SHBG a lot with the following. It’s a lot.

Vit b
DHEA
HMB
ASHWAGANDA
STINGING NETTLE ROOT
ZINC
BORON
MAGNESIUM
TONGKAT ALI

worked for about 2 years then slowly dropped to low 600’s. When I hit 500’s I’ll probably jump on TRT.
What dosages of each?

8 WEEKS UPDATE

So I started TRT 8 weeks ago and there you can see my results.

I am only on 70mg a week split into 2 injections.

So 0.35mg every 3.5 days test Enanthate.

Much improved mood.
Libido is much higher now.
Anxiety has been much better now and I'm actually looking to get back to work which is a massive thing for me.

Motivation is improving and depression is slowly but surely melting away.

I want to thank everybody on this forum who put there input into my decision to start trt its much appreciated.

What would people's opinions be on my test levels
There still in range but on the higher end which I am happy with.

So probably just stay on 70mg a week.

Thoughts from you guys?

Thanks my friend. I took the decision to start low on 70mg instead of 150mg and it paid off for me. I must be a good responder.

As you can see the levels look good so I don't think I need to change just yet.

Thanks again I can now move on with my life WOHOOOOOOOO!!!
Starting low and going slow has paid off for you, rather than those guys that start out too high and have to deal with the side effects, which is more common than you think.

Thoughts from you guys?

Glad to hear you are feeling well!

Keep in mind you are only 8 weeks in.

Definitely need to give it more time before deciding if any tweaking needs to be made.

You may end up settling here, only time will tell.

How many days after your injection were labs done?

We always want to test at the true trough (lowest point) before your next injection.

Seeing as you are injecting 70 mg T split twice-weekly (35 mg every 3.5 days) then your true trough would be 84 hrs post-injection.

You are hitting a robust TT 712.3 ng/dL and more importantly a healthy FT level injecting <100 mg T/week.

If we use the linear law-of-mass action cFTV with a robust TT 712.3 ng/dL, normal SHBG 30.9 nmol/L and Albumin 4.4 g/dL your FT is 16.4 ng/dL.

Again keep in mind if your labs were done at true trough than your peak TT, FT and estradiol will be higher.

You are missing some critical blood markers RBCs, hemoglobin and hematocrit mind you where such markers sit 8 weeks in will only give you a snapshot as you need to keep in mind that when first starting TTh or tweaking a protocol (increasing dose of T) that it is a given hematocrit will increase within the first month and can take anywhere from 6-9 months or in some cases up to a year to reach peak levels.

Thanks Mad man appreciate your input as always.

So bloods where Done at 9.30am and my next injection was in the afternoon. Obviously injecting 0.35mg every 3.5 days.

I am going to continue as I am and get bloods done again in onother 4/6 weeks and see where I am.

Cheers again

That’s nonsense. That’s exactly what we had 50+ years ago, low-carb diet, mostly meat, eggs, and cheese. The men of the World War II era were NOT on high carb diets, they were on low carb diets and disease rates were much lower.

In the 1920’s heart disease started increasing and as red meat consumption decreased, heart disease and cancer has gone in the opposite direction ^^.

Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease didn’t exist a little over 100 years ago. These are relatively new diseases that didn’t exist in the past.

Humans have never consumed more carbs now than at any time in the past and disease rate is at its highest!

Carbs is not an essential nutrient!

Fats is an essential nutrient the body cannot make itself.

The majority of published medical research today is simply untrue and is merely propaganda, where science ceases to exist.
ahh i dunno about all this.. WW2 people ate bread pasta etc infact we can look back further and how big a part bread was to diets because meats and cheeses were very much luxury until recently..

"give us our daily bread" u may remember this prayer in the bible? this is the staple of food for thousands of years.

remember the issues folks had in the dark ages when GRAIN storage went bad and people starved? if people ate so much meat, wouldn't of been a big deal...

during WW2 and before even bread was a staple of every meal with butter/jam being the omph. hearty stews with alot of potatos onions and cabbage (high carb), every house made fresh bread or had it delivered for the day.

if we look at meat consumption it has been ever climbing since records have been kept..

USA eats more meat then any other country yet has more cardiac issues so dont think its a super good measure. although yes there is more to this re obesity.

meat is def not protecting people from heart disease otherwise a country eating the most of it in recorded history per person should have less or at least similar disease no?

i think lifestyle and food intake period is more of the issue. lol should america double its meat intake and disease would go down considering its already well above the world in meat consumption?

if want to draw conclusions you need to get your facts right! not some blog payed for by big FARMA saying eat more meat which basis this idea that eating more meat means ur eating less and less sugar and processed food, which isnt the case.

USA eats more meat then any other country

I wish you put in as much effort into your research as you do with your punctuation.

Hong Kong has the world's highest per capita meat consumption in the world and the longest lifespan.

You need to get your facts straight and educate yourself a little bit!

if we look at meat consumption it has been ever climbing since records have been kept..
Sorry, but this is wrong, meat consumption has decreased 33% in the last 30 years. You can thank the sugar companies paying the USDA to say high cholesterol causes heart disease.

Doctors to this day still say to their patients to cut back on red meat consumption 1-2 times per week. Then they turn around and tell their patients they can eat sugar in moderation. So cut back on the red meat consumption and continue eating sugar in moderation.

I said we Americans used to eat mostly meat, eggs, and cheese, emphasis on mostly! I’m not saying we didn’t eat bread, you’re not comprehending my words.

You come across like you’re just rambling about a bunch of random stuff incoherently.

Below is a study from the 1930s looking at two African tribes, a carnivore tribe and a vegan tribe. The results are dramatic between the two tribes.

and more stats about red meat USA #3 in the world for its 'consumption' per person.. hong kong is actually ~#20 ;)

please dont cite carnivore blogs lol ;)

FACT china or hong kong dont have the most meat consumption it is one of those myths perpetuated by chinese gov perhaps?.. also no hong kong doesnt have longist lifespan.. JAPAN actually does :) if you think chinese or 1 city in china eats mostly meat you clearly dont know anyone from there or know anyone who has been.

Also a point you have likely not considered is IF hong kongs meat consumption is highest in the world WHEN did this start? surely very recently late 90s i would guess?

AGAIN, red meat consumption only has grown since 1950s... so no im not misreading your words as EXACT OPPOSITE is happening that your saying ;) in 1950s people ate ALOT less meat and protein. alot less of everything actually :)

this straw man BS is silly about vegan vs meat in tribes in 1930 when they prob were eating 600 calories a day. at any rate, i dont think you can truly be healthy as a vegan naturally. only way is alot of supplements and processed proteins to get all your daily aminos..

its funny how people get there world view challenged and cant handle it.

The real answer is not red meat or meat, rather eating less and properly portioned of fiber veggies and protein. remember its all fads and balance and moderation is the key, folks in USA seem to think they can eat just as much but all meat and be healthy, simply not true. re we can look to inuits who eat blubber and meat almost exclusively, these are also smaller people with chinese (low IGF GH genetics). remember ATKINS? have you looked into the kidney issues folks get with prolonged ketosis? anyway, populations that eat LESS live the longest, balanced diet lower in processed carbs is best but essentially the idea has nothing to do with carbs rather controlling BG and insulin, the next is getting your vitamins minerals lipids aminos, if you do that generally you get enough fiber which helps your body get rid of bile salts and other waste. also people are different, some people do better at eating certain things. if your prone to higher glucose and diabetes in your family def stay away from your daily bread, other people need to eat alot due to metabolism and go hypo super easy no matter if eating protein or sugar. OR some people can eat broccoli everyday and others it messes with their thyroid.

correlation vs causation remember are things to seperate esp when we try and compare different populations with very different cultures dif healthcare elderly live with family or in a home, genetics (lower IGF smaller people) etc. An over 6 foot 200 lb man is going to die sooner than 5 foot asian lady regardless of what she eats 9/10 times even if BMI is few points higher than the mans. no evidence off hand, but i think we can agree the elderly that are ripping around and reach 100 are usually smaller folks. Point being its super hard to compare, and wouldnt base a lifestyle choice off of cherry picked data points by Keto blogs that have coupon codes for there fav products.

The one thing about uni is that you garner ability to see that for every good point one evangelical makes someone on the other side has just as good of a point and typically truth lands in the balanced moderate area for most things.

Interestingly your SHBG issue is resolved, it dropped about 50% from pre-trt baseline.
