What do you think about Berberine HCL? A lot I've read points to it being more gut friendly.

Berberine HCL gets the same types of negative reviews on Amazon. Keep in mind, the Amazon reviews are very skewed towards positive, so usually the negative reviews carry the truth and more than 5% of 1-star reviews show that there is a problem.

If you decide to try it, make sure you can return it for a refund.

I wonder if some people can tolerate the irritation but feel the nausea as no appetite and that is why they lose weight on Berberine. When I was having the H. Pillory infection, I didn't have any appetite from the stomach irritation and my weight was going down. I saw the same logic in one of the reviews.

If you need an intestinal anti-inflammatory, the correct ones are L-Glutamine, Smecta, or PeptoBismol.

Yes I know what those are and been taking some of them for ages. But anyway thanks for your reply. And no, I'm not interested in taking Berberine or HCL Berberine just was interested in your opinion which seems is nothing more then the average of amazon reviews. And ftr I never buy supplements from Amazon as most are fake anyways.

Thats a HCL version as I understand? Also you had no gut issues prior taking it I assume?

Mine was a combo Berberine HCL with Bismuth etc for H. Pyllori. I made Amazon refund it due to side effects: Amazon.com

No Gut Issues before, the difference between the one on Amazon is the one I take is only LIPOSOMAL Berberine.
