ive been doing a lot of research and have a few supps id like to ask everyone here about:

citrus bergamont-helps lower cholesterol? does it?

lactoferrin-helps rid the liver of over excess of iron stores thus lowering hematocrit? really?

ip-6-iron chelator of sorts that helps rid the intestines of iron so it wontgo to the liver to store it thus helping to lower hematocrit? does it really?

vit k???? do we really need to supplement with vitamin k1-k2-k4- or k7? does it really help to send the calcium back to the bones?

rutin-helps break down 2 different kinds of blood clots? if u dont have clots does it help to keep it this way?

nattokinase? does it really help break down clots??

injectable curcumin, helps lower inflammation and lower cholesterol? any one know is this is true?

resvertol: great anti oxidant,

Glutathione? whats it do for u?

Pterostilbene : suppose to help lower cholesterol as well? does it?

anyone use any of these items? i know a few here have said they use natto and rutin, but other than that im not sure who uses any of the rest?

Those supplements are not very popular but that does not mean they may not work. You may want to go to examine.com to see if they have any data on them.

These are the ones I think have some valid data behind them:

To help contol my cholesterol (small LDL particles) I supplement with 2 tesapoons of fish oil, 1/2 of teaspoon of fermented cod and skate oil twice a day. I also believe keeps my blood from clogging.

Well, I am an admitted supplement junky so I like everything you are taking but think you could add a few more things in like:

Zinc
Fish Oils
COQ10
Calcium & Magnesium (great with the K's you are taking)
Choline & Inositol for liver health!
Best Multi/Mineral money can buy!

Got to examine.com as Nelson said and look up each of your supps and see what they say; the site is probabaly the best voice of truth when it comes to understanding supplements and it they can do as they state.

Hey guys,
This is my first attempt at posting on this forum so wish me luck!
First and foremost, testosterone replacement therapy should be taken with caution, regardless of it being prescribed by your doctor. The side effects can be long lasting and sometimes permanent.
Moving on to the questions you have posted…
Citrus Bergamot : can lower cholesterol levels and this has been confirmed by a number of studies. Check out this link http://www.drwhitaker.com/benefits-of-bergamot/
Lactoferrin : is known to hinder the effects of iron in the body. Many studies have confirmed this. Check out this link http://www.wellnessresources.com/health/articles/lactoferrin_helps_keep_iron_working_in_your_favor/
IP 6 Iron : is known to bind itself with either which in turn lower inflammatory cytokines. http://www.mdjunction.com/forums/ci...-binds-iron-and-lowers-inflammatory-cytokines
Vitamin K : although there were a lot of claims about this vitamin's ability to retain calcium to the skeletal structure, recent studies seem to refute these claims. http://articles.mercola.com/sites/a...-delicate-dance-between-vitamins-d-and-k.aspx
Rutin: a 2002 Harvard study found that rutin can indeed prevent blood clotting. http://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2012/05/flavonoid-compound-can-prevent-blood-clots/
Nattokinase : it's widely believed that this ingredient can prevent blood clotting due to its blood thinning properties. http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-suppl...dientid=1084&activeingredientname=nattokinase
Injectable Curcumin: Many body builders seem to have serious belief in injectable curcumin's anti-inflammatory properties, and studies seem to confirm this : http://curcumin-turmeric.net/inflammation.html
Regarding it's cholesterol lowering qualities, studies have shown some truth to these claims: http://examine.com/supplements/Curcumin/
Resvertol: Definitely effective for flushing out the system, check out this government paper http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17956300
Glutathione: Helps to rebuild tissue, heal, and help the body to produce chemicals and proteins it requires at the time. http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-suppl...edientid=717&activeingredientname=glutathione
Pterostilbene : This is a derivative of resveratrol and some believe it is even better than the source when it comes to its absorption qualities. http://examine.com/supplements/Pterostilbene/
I hope this gives you a slightly clearer picture!
I am going finish off this post by making you aware of the dangers of TRT, although you may be using it for valid reasons.
Some of my readers have been able to wean themselves off TRT (an extremely difficult task, to say the least) due to some of the nasty side effects they can trigger.
So what's the answer?
Firstly, it's not just bodybuilders who use these.
Natural testosterone boosters are the way to go…ask people who have switched! Natural testosterone boosters contain natural ingredients, and they encourage the body to start upping its game when it comes to testosterone production.
By using a natural testosterone booster, you are avoiding the possibility of exposing yourself to real harm, that TRT can cause, and your doctor will confirm this!
Check out the testosterone booster section of my site and get a fuller understanding of what these supplements are all about. Or alternatively, discover a testosterone booster created specifically for older guys!
PS I don't sell them so this is not a sales pitch!

All the best my man

I think Citrus Bergamot is a very interesting supplement for those of you whose HDL has been lowered by testosterone replacement therapy. I would take 500 mg of it with 600 mg of NAC twice per day 30 min before meals.
