So no real update PER SE... BUT I did wind up having a pretty adverse reaction to something. Am taking Minoxidil (PO 2.5mg, 1.5yrs) and Natesto 2x/day for 3 weeks now almost finished with first vial (which has crystals). I also - stupidly and randomly without much thought - took 2 tablets of 5mg tadalafil (a drug I no longer take but have taken in the past for some weeks as a random prescription they provided while they were 'diagnosing' my HH). So - after 3 weeks of Natesto and nothing... I suddenly got what I'll describe as very high energy, significant spontaneous erections, and - disturbingly - about 1 hour of continuous tachycardia despite being sedate/sedentary. Have NEVER experienced this before (in the past tadalafil NEVER had this effect, even the erectile effects were effective but not quite like this; and I'm positive Minoxidil has no such effects. Potentially when stacked the two vasodilators could cause hypotension ergo tachycardia, but I find that less likely). *I am wondering if I finally hit a NATESTO CRYSTAL??* I admit I freaked out the next day the tachycardia was gone, but I felt what I would describe as a subtle, occasional but irregular/irregularl rhythm heartrate which was disturbing. So I went to the ED, got an ECG, troponins, CBC - all normal though HR was elevated a bit (against my baseline), BP slightly above normal (w normal baseline). On exam EM actually DID claim to hear indeterminate ectopic beats - this of course CAN be NORMAL to some degree esp during tachycardia or exertion, but seems unlikely to be related to ANY of these drugs (indeed the drug database found NO cross-interactions with these 3 drugs, 2 of which I've taken in the past with Natesto being the new one). Arrythmias can also of course be quite abnormal. Still somewhat worrisome, was discharged - mostly resolved for now but will f/u with cardiology. Zero cardiac history. **Has anyone ever experienced significant tachycardia on Natesto? This seems odd to me, and the literature of course shows some people experience various effects like this, I'm trying to figure out what is going on.
