Hey All, I live in Canada and I need some help interpreting a couple of testosterone blood test I have had done. The first one was in 2013 when I was 38 yrs of age and it came back at 8.2 nmol/L. The normal range says 8.4-28.8. The most recent one this past week I had done came back 26.6 (no idea what measurement is used) and the normal range used for this test is 25-80. I just turned 40 last week. The nurse practitioner that did the testing says I am within normal ranges for both tests I had done and that no Urologist would consider me for TRT. I told her I thought it seemed low for my age but she told me she has had 18 year old's with those levels like that is supposed to make me feel better? Anyways, my question is in your guys opinion do these values seem normal to you for my age? I have quite a few of the symptoms associated with low T, the main ones are lack of focus, energy and motivation as well as low sex drive and soft erections. She said she could give me cialis for this, I told her I was more interested in finding out what the real problem is. She said I could come back and discuss with my family doctor if I wanted further clarification or to try and pursue the issue. I am way out of my element when it comes to this so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
