So last took 40mg of short acting testosterone propionate 8 days ago. The half life if 20 hours. So theoretically it should be completely out of my system in 4.5 days. The reason I stopped is I aromatize like crazy when I can't workout. I had ACDF surgery and am not allowed to work out for one more month. Anyhow when I get high estrogen I take Anastrozole but sometimes I take to much and other times not enough. I've tried Journaling how much I'm taking to find a trend so I could take a consistent amount of Anastrozole. It's just unpredictable. If I don't notice my estrogen rising I can get blood pressure spikes north of 180/95. Alternatively if I take to much I can get very badly crashed estrogen and get high bp spikes there as well. This has gone on for years. I've gotten to the point where 99% of the time I can tell if it's high or low by my symptoms. I know that I'm not mistaken because I feel better after i take Anastrozole. But yes there are periods where I take to much. It's pretty complicated but take my word for it when I say I've tried everything to find consistency but shit just changes. I can't say I'm gonna take .25 every day and get blood work because my side effects are so bad I'm forced to take more which prevents me from trying a set amount and assessing with blood work. I get extremely anxious, insomnia and just feel awful when estrogen is high. So I have to treat it accordingly. So now I'm 8 days off testosterone propionate and still needing to take Anastrozole. Again this is not in my head please just take my word for it. I literally feel much better after I take it. It's not some like I think I feel better. It's night and day. My question is to those that aromatize pretty well if and when you quit did you still need Anastrozole after the testosterone left your system?
