Ive used N for years, 80mg per week (40mg and 40mg) its not a miracle drug but helps with joint pain and training.
Just had labs done for some lipid issues and genetics.
Hemocrit was up a point, the real rockstar is Crestor which lowered my Triyglerides by 80 points.
I find this true especially post covid, which doesn't help when you feel good, hormones optimized, healthy, and look and feel good. Middle age men ( my friends) seem to suffer from all of the above, making it hard to relate to them and friendships seem to suffer.
I've been a trainer for 31yrs and training my self for 40yrs. My practice is exclusively baby boomer men, 45 and up for the last 15yrs. At 61 yrs old, my personal training is how I teach. More warmup, joint friendly exercises, less rest time between sets. Higher intensity with less volume, and...
Seek out a trainer to help you put together a training program. Middle age means training different, especially with your injuries. Throw out the tren.
Long time TRT user, never had any sides etc. Yearly bloodwork was just done, estradiol was 67. Total T was 567 in trough. Free 155. Looking back, estradiol is always 64 to 67 which I know is higher? Dont have any problems just looking for feedback please.
Rural yes, but please dont say you know how to weight train properly because you trained in high school. As a trainer for 31yrs, and the way I make a living, you could do alot better with your current routine. As with the mechanic, lawyer, or plumber, we all have a profession for a reason.
As with most things genetics and some luck plays a part to continued muscle growth and the way we train. As a trainer to exclusively middle aged men, ( me at 61yr) success for most of us comes with different training. I've found increased frequency helps, changing intensity, volume are all good...
Lots of great responses here, all true and informative. I am sure their are many on here who like me have experimented with AS in our younger days, which personally lead me to HRT in my late 40s.
Hypogonadism, is really what you have to look forward to when you do AS unsupervised. Genetics...
I've been a 15yr TRT vet, I am lucky to have no sides and have switched protocols based on this forum. Personally, not a fan of subQ due to lumps and pain. I do like shallow IM in delts and thighs. I only test 1x per year as my labs are the same.
15yrs TRT 80mg test every 3-4 days, 500iu HCG a week.
libido is strong
no erection issues, no help needed
lucky, i have no sides.
labs good yearly
60 yrs old
I am fortunate, 15yrs of TRT therapy, no sides from a simple 500ius of HCG split weekly. Cypionate test at 80mgs every 3 or 4 days. I've lowered my dose several times with no change. My hematocrit is higher then I like when I test yearly, but my doc says it's ok.
tore my pec 20yrs ago, not a tendon tear but pec tear that cant be fixed. as a trainer for a living the return is slow and steady, just like I teach. stretch, massage (scar tissue) band work are all helpful. each week adding in more upper body work in. NO flat benching for me till this day.
I just had my yearly labs, HCt is always around 51ish, 10yr +TRT user. No sides, 30mg x 3 in 9 days.
Troughed for 5 days prior to labs, normal then is 500ish. Added a larger amount of water pre test, 24hrs of hydration. Normal fast for bloodwork, no diet changes, HCT was 49.
Lowest it's ever...
As a trainer who has helped many people after rotator cuff tears and surgery, hire a pro to help you. Go to therapy after and then to a qualified trainer to get back on track.
