I'll try to make this brief.

I was on HCG + minor anastrozole therapy for 10 years. Never an issue. It started to grow ineffective. I started T Cyp slowly alongside HCG + anastrozole. Did this for about 4 months. Never felt quite right. I was having other issues related to a kidney...
I could not get my iron to increase through any protocols. I ended up changing my PPI medicine, taking less of it as well, and stopping TRT for now. My Ferritin is up around 100 after a few months.
Once I get it to around 150, I am going to start TRT again and monitor my iron and ferritin...
This is exactly what I am seeing. My T crashed to 10 while injecting. I stopped T and started enclomiphene and my Ferritin is up to mid 50's after 2 months.
I feel better with my Ferritin coming up, but will be stopping the enclomiphene shortly and can imagine that I am going to feel much...
With my Ferritin rising rapidly after stopping T injections, is there anything else I could do to raise T without taking T directly? A peptide? Anything else?
Interesting.
I only look at Free T. My SHBG is super low so even at a current Total T of 250, Free T is 75-85 typically. If my Total T gets up to 900 for example, my Free T is usually over 300 which causes all sorts of issues. At 140 mg of T Cyp my Free T was about 600 with Free T at 200-225.
I'm at the same point. With the low Ferritin, I felt significantly worse than with low T.
I've been on enclomiphene for 2 months, and am worried what things will be like when I come off of it. My Free T is about 75 on enclomiphene. It was 150 on 140 mg of T Cyp. If I go off, I'm afraid it...
I stopped that day. It’s been two months. I’ve been on enclomiphene. Free T has been halved from when I was doing 140 mg of T. However my Ferritin has gone from 10 to 53 with no change in diet. I feel much better. Still debating my next move.
Got it. Thanks.
I hear you. I'm stopping for now. See where I am and how I feel when I get back to baseline. I feel worse now than I did before, so I need to get it sorted out. Then, will start to step back in slowly. That could blow up on me, but I feel like I need to start with a...
There is a local place that does IV iron drip. They said cash payment, costs about $250+ a visit on the voicemail, but I haven't called back yet. I did send them my labs and they said it would be advised, but that was before I had the latest iron labs that shows about 100 iron and 13 ferritin.
I was on HCG monotherapy for about 10 years. I have blood panels from over that time and my iron was low to mid range, and my ferritin was 175-200 consistently. Over time, the HGC monotherapy started to be ineffective for me.
I started TRT in fall 2022. My bloodwork all looked ok (except...
I have been curious on the IV infusion side as well. The notes however said it would be hard on the liver and potentially sky rocket hemoglobin and hematocrit, unless I read it wrong. I would certainly be willing to do the IV infusion if it makes sense.
