Hi,

Since starting with TRT I have some problems with excessive sweating (feels like I am always warmer than others) and face flushing. I stopped for a month ago with HCG and my sweating now is much less. The rest I feel the same meaning I can´t feel that I am off HCG at all.

My current regime 50mg x 2 week. Ex HCG regime 2x500 week
Any input?

Tommy, I don't believe everyone needs HCG, I do believe most do better with it. Ask your doctor about not using HCG, maybe you don't need it?

Some guys do feel warmer and more bloated on HCG. I believe HCG may have effects on the thyroid and also it may increase 17-hydroxyprogesterone which can also increase cortisol which could increase water retention. HCG also increases DHT which may also increase body temperature (in my opinion).

Human chorionic gonadotropin stimulates thyroid hormone secretion, iodide uptake, organification, and adenosine 3',5'-monophosphate formation in cultured human thyrocytes.

The role of hCG in regulation of the thyroid gland in normal and abnormal pregnancy.

Serum 17-hydroxyprogesterone strongly correlates with intratesticular testosterone in gonadotropin-suppressed normal men receiving various dosages of human chorionic gonadotropin

Really? , I'm going to take a month off and see the effects then

Let us know how it works, I have read when women get pregnant. It can have an effect on their thyroid.

Thyroid disease is a disorder that results when the thyroid gland produces more or less thyroid hormone than the body needs.
Pregnancy causes normal changes in thyroid function but can also lead to thyroid disease.
Uncontrolled hyperthyroidism during pregnancy can lead to serious health problems in the mother and the unborn baby.
During pregnancy, mild hyperthyroidism does not require treatment. More severe hyperthyroidism is treated with antithyroid medications, which act by interfering with thyroid hormone production.
Uncontrolled hypothyroidism during pregnancy can lead to serious health problems in the mother and can affect the unborn baby's growth and brain development.
Hypothyroidism during pregnancy is treated with synthetic thyroid hormone, thyroxine (T[SUB]4[/SUB]).
Postpartum thyroiditis—inflammation of the thyroid gland—causes a brief period of hyperthyroidism, often followed by hypothyroidism that usually goes away within a year. Sometimes the hypothyroidism is permanent.

Two pregnancy-related hormones—human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) and estrogen—cause increased thyroid hormone levels in the blood.

Thanks to all of you for your posts!
I will continue another month without HCG and than restart it and if the same effects happen again, than I am almost sure that I won´t need it. It might also have to do with the dosage etc.. I am surprised that my tests havent shrunk that yet. As you mention Thyiods issues. I do have not optimal levels but within range so my doc won´t medicate it. She told me to start with Iodine? So now I am taking Kelp (Solar). I really don´t notice anything, maybe I am a bit less anxious or pure placebo.. DHEA I changed from morning intake to night. I´ll keep you posted.
