Low testosterone and opioid med

Hi,

I have been on opioid medication for my chronic illness.
Recently my PC doc did a blood test and my level came out low:
My thyroid working fine, not diabetic.
Recently saw an endo and he did a blood work and Total T came out within range LOW end 340ng. But he wants me stop opioid medication before he can diagnose me.

Now my question is can I be on Testosterone therapy while I am on pain med? It is not possible for me to get off pain med because of chronic pain.

You can be on trt medication when you're on opiate meds or pain meds. If you were able to get off the pain medication your testosterone levels could go back to a good range. But if you start trt it may be harder for you recover your old testosterone levels. So it's something you must decide.
