Hello, everyone.

I'm in need for some advice:

i've done a 3week trt experiment (90mg enanthate x3) and would like to stop. Should i do PCT?

(i'm 27, healthy male, not hypogonadal previously)

Regards.

This is, presumably, a self-directed exercise. Did you obtain basic labs prior to the start of this cycle? They would serve as a reference point for you.

Yes, i have prior labs.

Should i do them again perhaps a week after last injection?

What about pct? clomid, nolva?

Regards

YES!!!!
I don't judge but I would not recommend experimenting again think about having to inject 2x a week or more for the rest of your life just to try to feel normal then imagine the cost $$$ not just of the medications but also lab tests and DR visits.

check this out

Yes, I precipitated myself, though i was very informed about trt.

Do you really think i cannot recuperate naturally?

Everybody is different and you may recover just fine - but why risk the chance that you won't? PCT can only help.

I might think at 3 weeks you were barely HPTA suppressed and if you needed any kind of PCT it would be minimal but this really isn't my area.

given the compound and length of use I believe you will be ok but everyone is different.
My message was more of a warning and something to think about the dreaded "WHAT IF"
as for PCT I say yes because better safe than sorry and I believe the clomid would be more effective and do not use HCG in PCT!

Because hcg would downregulate LH, correct?

Also, why not start clomid as soon as possible instead of waiting for the ester half-life? i'd guess it would prevent further pituitary inhibition by the steroid hormones, no?

I am by no means an expert but here's my answers

I don't know if I had to guess I would say your body naturally normally has higher LH/FSH when your testosterone is low so it would make since to wait and start when test levels are lower also it might be the same reason people don't use testosterone and clomid together.

Clomid basically stimulates the Pituitary to produce more LH but it wont work when the HPTA is suppressed.

If you injected testosterone for only 3 weeks to experiment, there's no reason to do a restart. Just stop injecting and walk away. You'll be fine in a few weeks.

Bottom line:
PCT or "restart" is for restarting something that is shutdown.
At 3 weeks you most likely are not shutdown but only a lab will show it.
IF you do this and didn't need it, you might cause more issues that just stopping.
FYI
3weeks for any type of testosterone is useless since your body will adjust its hormones more after 3 weeks.
Many things continue to change at 4, 8 and 12 weeks.

At this point, you've heard from a number of members offering a range of opinions. If you don't have a knowledgeable doctor to consult, I would choose the most conservative approach. You chose to engage in a self-directed, limited TRT experiment. I would be wary of engaging in a self-directed restart in the absence of labs.
