For those on a tight budget what would be your recommendations for top 3 prescription drugs and top 3 OTC's? Also does anyone have any advice on how to get drugs cheaper ie. compounding pharmacies, coupons, becoming a study participant?

Pre and post workout nutrition

I take a 5000 mg L-arginine, 1000 mg L-citrulline mix only once a day, with a serving of 5 grams of creatine monohydrate in almond or coconut milk an hour before workouts with almond butter on apple slices, hummus celery stick dips, or mixed nuts. I also take a cup of espresso.

After the gym , I make a shake with Muscle Egg, real unsweetened yogurt, banana, glutamine, fiber (or oatmeal) and frozen berries in a NutriBullet

Good fats slow down carbohydrate absorption and smooth the glucose uptake of carbs. Besides they are key to optimum hormonal response.

Test Cyp is always the best way to go for T medication economically. Right now, Costco has 10ml generic Test Cyp 200mg/ml for $59. I have seen it as low as $35 at some compounding pharmacies who are willing to give patients some assistance.

Anastrozol at Costco is the cheapest I have personally seen, roughly $37 for #90 1mg tablets. Many other retail pharmacies will match this cost if you mention it. Anastrozol is more expensive at compounding pharmacies probably due to the labor costs of making them by hand. You do not need a Costco membership to use their pharmacy.

HCG is best purchased through a compounding pharmacy as they have the best price and always have stock. I pay between $50-$70 for 11,000iu. The brand name at retail pharmacies are significantly more expensive, like $150-$225 for 10,000iu. They are also frequently on back order.

Since the goal is not to need an AI (or minimally), savings can be made if anastrozol is not needed. I personally cycle HCG so I only need 2 bottles per year ($100-$140). The Test Cyp is the only constant and it can be found cheaply if one looks for it. Of course, we must also find a physician willing to write for it which is sometimes the difficult (and costly) part.

As for OTC- the only three I take with regularity is: Vitamin D3, Fish Oil, and amino acids (in various forms, combos, or individually depending on the goal at the time). I do this because I have access to so much stuff at the clinic I would be eating supplements and injecting myself all day and prefer to be a minimalist when it comes to supplementation and medications. This also keeps cost down very low.

Compounding pharmacies are becoming more competitive with pricing for patients. Call around, price shop, and negotiate. Many out of state pharmacies can ship across states. Depending on the size of the pharmacy, there are good margins on injectable hormones so they have room to bring the price down. Just don't beat them up too much as their labor costs have increased due to the increased regulations regarding sterile injectables.

I just met Shaun from Empower Pharmacy in Houston and they have really good programs for patients to help save them money. They are also licensed in many states to ship medications too. APS Pharmacy in Florida also have low pricing.

If you're looking for a compounding pharmacy for T cream I have one of the best. I live in So. California and it's McGuff in Orange County. I pay about $25 per month for it.

Costco is no longer that price. Its doubled atleast here in SOCal. very disappointing. I use APS in Florida now ironically per a suggestion when my specialist told me TRT, and cream not sufficient, injections recommended due to the severity of my metabolic issues and HPTA deficiency...
