Private Coaching Sessions with Nelson Vergel

I recently started a private consult with Nelson and wanted to document the experience here, if that's ok with Nelson? At this point I have just received his questionnaire. He warned me that it is quite lengthy but I would use the term extremely thorough. His questionnaire asks many questions that many physicians don't take the time and/or care to ask but are always questions that they should be asking.

Nelson, got back to me within minutes once he received my questionnaire. He set up a time the following day that was convenient for the both of us. I was missing some tests that he wanted to see for a better picture but he was able to suggest a test that many of the specialists I've had neglected to mention. The results of this test could answer the question that has alluded so many specialists and ameliorate many of my health conditions. What I found most interesting was that Nelson, unlike most other health professionals, took the time to listen and didn't begin with the presupposition that I was in some way being dishonest. He also gave me a recommendation for an OTC that might improve the aforementioned issue. We have been in contact since the initial consult and I am in the process of setting up the labs.

I was able to send Nelson some more labs and again w/in minutes he responded and gave me some extra advice. He has sent me links that support his assertions and dosing suggestions. (The link was from a site that uses peer reviewed research). Very impressed with how quickly he responds. Thanks again Nelson!

Just wanted to give an update...The majority of our conversation was about weight loss as it drives all of my other health issues but we briefly discussed TRT. Nelson stated that an increase in dosage might benefit me and questioned the shot frequency/ location (because there is really no scientific data to support it). I implemented his suggestions and my numbers are the best they have been on TRT.

    To all members:

I apologize for the lengthy summary below, but I feel it is important to share and try to help others.

I joined this site last month. I am a 52 year old business owner who has always exercised, eaten healthy foods, and tried to stay on the path of wellness. For the last ten years or so, I've noticed a decline in the positive results I'd been getting due to walking this path: loss of energy, loss of focus, belly fat. Like most people, I attributed this to getting older. As a teenager, I was a skinny kid who wanted to gain muscle, so I started eating more and working out. I would read muscle magazines and research what supplements to take. Back then, I saw consistent positive results and was inspired to continue the path. The problem for me as I aged was that these results were fewer and farther apart. Some thirty years later I found myself swimming around trying to find the magic supplement, and becoming more and more discouraged. As a result, approximately ten years ago, I started looking for a "wellness" doctor.

In addition to the above mentioned issues, I have for my entire life suffered with migraine headaches. I'd tried all sorts of fixes and various prescriptions with minimal results. The problem with most mainstream doctors is that they have to follow a certain protocol. They are ignorant to the fact that drugs and/or surgery are not the only fix.

Two years ago, the stars aligned and I landed on a nutritionist and also a holistic MD. I started with the nutritionist first, and within three weeks, I noticed a difference. I had been a "meat and potatoes" guy all of my life. I discovered that the carbohydrates in addition to the lack of enzymes in my system were fueling my headaches. Therefore, I am on a sort of modified Adkins diet. To date, my headaches are 95% cured.

The next step was to see the holistic MD. She tested my testosterone levels and they were at the time at 470. While this number was on the low side of normal on the conventional scale (400-600), I was blessed with a doctor who was not just looking at the numbers, but at my symptoms. I started a TRT regiment approximately fifteen months ago. The combination of diet change, supplements, and TRT transformed me into what she, my doctor, calls me: Ironman. Currently I am at 717 total/25.8 free testosterone.

Most people want a quick fix. They have to understand that there are NO quick fixes in this world. If they find one, it is short-lived or many sometimes very bad side effects to go along with it.

The main question I ask many people is-- why can't health be the number one priority? I see new faces in the gym all the time. They are out of shape and trying hard to make a change. Most of them are there on doctor's orders. Don't wait for a health catastrophe to hit before you make a change. The secret to good health is a complete life style commitment. No TRT program by itself is a magic bullet.

Are you currently on a wellness program or considering starting one? If you are reading this, you know you have found the right guy to help you with the whole process. Nelson Vergel is by far one of the leading authorities, I believe, in this field. I have read numerous books on wellness/hormone replacement therapy over the last couple of years and found his book to be the most informative, which led me to join this forum. Last week I decided to sign up for a coaching session with Mr. Vergel. He contacted me immediately right after I paid the $120 fee. I completed his on line questionnaire, and put together 30+ pages of my blood work and complete history. The more complete information you supply the better he can guide you to achieve your goals. He is a wealth of knowledge. Between Mr. Vergel, my Dr., and the nutritionist, I now have a complete team! I strongly believe everyone should consider doing this.
What could be more important than your health?

    Hello,
i wanted to chime in about Nelson's coaching! I had a session with him just recently! I am pretty well-versed in the hormone arena, but after speaking with Nelson I just felt even better about pursuing this hormone journey! He first I feel all has an indenying compassion to help people! His experience alone is awesome! He was able to help me really understand more of what I have been dealing with! I wanted to make sure that I was on the right path, even though I have an awesome MD! With Nelson, you can really get down to the fine details, and he is so knowledgeable that I just know everything will work out well! If you have any questions about your protocol details, then don't hesitate to get his experienced opinion! I got off the phone and felt like so many questions were answers! I was super pumped after I got off the phone!

I've been on TRT therapy for just about a year now. I found some doctors even pro-TRT are still lacking experience with the subject matter. I stumbled onto the excelmale site and was pleasantly surprised at the content and member contributions. There's a lot of good info here. As much as I would like, I simply don't have a lot of time to peruse through the site. A couple of months ago I decided to cut to the chase and scheduled a consultation session with Nelson. In a nutshell, this was money well worth spent.

Nelson speaks from over 20 years of personal experience with TRT himself. So he's very cognizant of the subtleties with dosing. This I believe is the key to successful TRT. Very few doctors can say that. I'll take personal experience any day over academic explanations that leave much to be desired. I also appreciate the fact that Nelson comes from an engineering background as I do. This tells me he is very analytical and trained to look for the root cause of problems instead of addressing symptoms.

Don't get me wrong, there are good doctors out there. You just have to find one with the depth of knowledge. This can take some time. In the meantime, Nelson can offer good advise that you can take back to your current doctor for subtle adjustments that may be needed.

If you feel you're stuck in a rut and not getting the response you need from your TRT treatment, you may want to talk to Nelson directly. I highly recommend it.

I had a wonderful experience with Neslon and if you are on the edge you should definitely consider investing the time and money. Your doctor will (most likely) only know so much about TRT. Nelson is patient and dedicated to helping others. He will spend time running through your blood work and correspond with you in the future.

    Dear friends,
I was asked by Nelson to share my experience with his coaching session, which I gratefully do. Nelson took a lot of time to go through my "case" and the skype-session was encouraging. My problem is, that I have tried all sorts of products, also in high dosages, but still can't get my testo up to a satisfying level. Nelson recommended daily self-injections. Unfortunately German doctors do not allow self-injections. So I am somehow back to square one. I wish we had a website like excelmale.com and such a committed and knowledgeable person like Nelson in my country, considering the specific legal/medical etc. conditions in Germany. I will still follow the threads on this superb website.
    All the best

    Hello,

I'm a 52 yr old male and was considering TRT for a couple years. After consulting with my primary care physician and visiting a couple of TRT clinics, I decided to hire Nelson for a coaching session. It was one of the best decisions I could've made. My PCP discouraged me from starting TRT and the TRT clinics were only interested in getting another paying customer regardless of my situation. Prior to my consult with Nelson, I had actually started TRT with the 2nd clinic. They convinced me to get pellets surgically implanted WITH Anastrazole (Arimidex) included in the pellets. This was a bad decision. My E2 levels dropped way too low and I felt pretty crappy for several months. Nelson was very thorough and understanding. It was great to get an OBJECTIVE opinion from someone who has the level of knowledge and experience that Nelson has. He gave me specific advice which turned out to be exactly what I needed. After speaking with Nelson, I changed my treatment protocol from pellets to injections. After some minor tweaking with my injection amounts & frequency, I now feel fantastic. I get lab tests every month, my numbers look great and I don't need to use any AI's (ie Arimidex) at all. Thank you, Nelson. I really appreciate your help and feel grateful to have someone like you out there looking out for guys like us!
