No more consults at Defy as of the 9th. Curious why this hasn't been mentioned , quite a few Defy patients with him as their consult.

Copying my response to a separate thread below:

This is true. Dr Crisler is no longer working for or affiliated with Defy/myself. He will remain a friend and ally in the space, and we wish him the best. We've actually sent out two group emails to active patients including an announcement of the change (Labor Day email and the email announcing new staff RN and PA). In addition to Jill and Melissa (my new PA), I'm actively training other providers as we speak.

Wow. Dr. Crisler was the only consult I'd worked with up until now. Sounds like I'm not on the newsletter email or something as I didn't get the notification.

smcclanahan - we send out, to all patients with a current/valid email, a monthly Newsletter and then periodic E-blasts with news, promos, staff updates, etc.

If you haven't been receiving these please make sure your email on file with us is accurate AND that they are not being caught by your spam filter (common).

Weird - I sometimes receive emails from Defy and sometimes I do not? I have no spam filters in place and I have even turned them off with my internet provider. (and I had no idea that one could get 47 different Viagra/Cialis emails in a single day before I did that - but trust me, you can...)

I had a f/u with Dr. Crisler on Tuesday and he told me that would be my last time with him. I too am a current patient and haven't been getting the emails. I'll check my spam filter too.

Dr. Saya,

What does this mean? Another Dr?

If we consult with the PA or RN I take it this is a lot cheaper? If we do use the RN/PA do you review our blood work to stay in the loop and advise as well?

Please refer questions of this sort directly to Defy. I am sure they will provide you with answers.

Out of respect for all parties, the details will obviously remain private.

Suffice to say it is an amicable separation and John will remain a personal friend.

The nurse consult has always been cheaper, like half the price with Dr Saya, but I can't remember the costs there.
