Here it is... Primary concern is with my Lipid Panel. I started a keto lifestyle about 2 months ago due to my LDL levels and it doesn't look like it's improved... The report is telling me to start on statins... I do not want to do this. Also looks as if my estrogen is elevated...

sometimes poor lipids are genetic, I agree and would stay away from statins if you drink alcohol or pop I would cut that out or once in a great while kinda thing.
your DHEA is a little high which can convert into estrogen do you take DHEA?

No I don't take any DHEA supps... Haven't had pop or soda for well over a year and rarely drink.

We did just get back from Florida trip where I did have vodka a few times as that seems to be the go to for drinks when doing Keto and may have indulged in some forbidden food here and there but nothing major. My labs were done about 2 weeks after getting back and my normal eating continued...

Also I am in the process of dropping weight. I've lost probably 25lbs and still losing.. I've read this can play a part in elevated LDL, not sure how true that is...

Because of your high LDL, you should consider getting a complete lipid panel. With all your particle size and amounts.

I had this once before and it was my small particle size that was bad.. I know, not good... How much does that test cost from Labcorp?

I don't know, I use Cleveland Heart Clinic for lipid panel and inflammatory markers.

Ok, I've got a follow up with Dr. Crisler on the 28th.. Should I just discuss with him.. I told him my concerns 6 weeks ago when I started with Defy and he said my markers would improve with losing weight, which I have so far, 25lbs...

Your blood values and organ functions are great. Even your lipids are good (do not worry about the LDL, your HDL compensates )

Some will tell you to bring your estradiol down but I would not do so unless you have tender nipples.

Congrats.

Thank you everyone for the replys.. Feeling a little better... I started doing keto trying to help my LDL issue and seeing the numbers only increase is a bit frustrating... Like I told my wife, it makes no sense that with the TRT going so well and keto melting bodyfat off me as well as being as active as I am and feeling as good as I am at 40 years of age I'm in the best shape life yet it's just these numbers that say otherwise. I'll talk with Dr. Crisler and maybe start shopping around for a different primary care doc to maybe look further into my blood gunk... No statins though, I will make that clear going in.

I've always had higher LDL, ever since I can remember. So I guess it's just typical for me... I am going to look at changing my fat consumption to see if I can make a difference there... We will see...

As for as my E goes, no nipple sensitivity that I've noticed, but water retention has in the past and continues to be a big issue.. My weight can swing wildly due to water retention. Not sure if this is related to high E, thought I read somewhere that it can be. Acne has been on ongoing issue as well.. Been using L-carnitine and B5 along with with a Benzo body wash... It's helped with the little pimples but the bigger ones still popup...
