Thought I'd post my labs I took last month before I started TRT and see any thoughts anyone had. I know my vitamin D is extremely low.

Based on the reference range, I would say your doctor ordered the wrong estradiol test. You want to be sure e2 is measured with the "sensitive" test (LC, MS/MS). The standard test, that you have posted over-estimates estradiol. Something to keep in mind in the future.

Thanks, I'll definitely bring that up. I have to have my followup blood work in 4-6 weeks. I may also want to go to 2x a week injections instead of the one I'm doing now.

Yeah, that Vitamin D will be much better in the 60ng/ml to 80ng/ml arena, definitely keep administering. I don't know if you posted your age and/or any stats? It would help just to have a better understanding of where you're at, plus if there's any other medical conditions and/or health concerns you have been dealing with?

Your LH wasn't tanked, but not good either, obviously contributing to a lowered total serum result. Presuming your physician diagnosed it as "Secondary Hypo"? If not, that's where it's leaning. How much HCG are you administering? It "should" be quite beneficial for you, and it will help promote endogenous production in the testes. It personally took me awhile to get that dialed in, with adjusting my Cyp protocol to compensate with how well the HCG was working. A little trial and error with getting my Total & Free Test in the area that works best for my body's rhythm and balance.

Excellent DHEA, B12, good lipids ... The Cortisol result doesn't provide anything for comment .. No time, reference range, and being a 1x serum wouldn't give you much to work with anyways. If at some point you want to thoroughly review the adrenals, please look at a 4x Saliva Kit - Cortisol & DHEA w/Corrleation analysis, plus ACTH.

Free T3 is at 57% of Reference Range, Free T4 is at 48%. I would have anticipated your TSH to be in the mid to high 2's, so the 2.67 is about what you would expect. 50% to 80% of reference range is usually ideal for both FT4 and FT3, so if anything you're just on the lower end. Keep an eye on it, and maybe look into some iodine and selenium supplementation if you're not taking any at this time (?)

Sorry, I'm 35, 5'10", 175 pounds. Been dealing with low energy, lack of sleep, low libido for a while. I was actually tested 7 years ago by my primary doc and my result was 265 total T, he refused to do anything about it. I was tested again a couple of months ago at 313 total T. This made me go see a specialist and start treatment.

Just got my first labs back since starting TRT:

Total Testosterone: 994 ng/dl range (280-1100) Previous: 450
Free Testosterone: 26.94 ng/dl range (1.9-27) Previous: 8.57
Sex Hormone Bind Globulin: 24 nmol/L range (10-80) Previous: 35
Estradiol: 50.4 pg/ml range (7.6-42.6) Previous: 24.0

I asked specifically if I would be getting the E2 sensitive test because the Pre-TRT was not and I was told I would be, but as you can see it looks like I was given the regular E2 test again.

I inject biweekly .4 ml on Monday/Thursday, held off on Thursday injection because blood work was Friday morning, did my injection Friday after blood work.

I would urge you to self-test your Estradiol through Discountedlabs.com. It is too important a value to ignore. The most important question - how are you feeling?

I have a consult with Defy next week thankfully. I'm feeling a lot better then before that's for sure. I have had flush feeling in my face and ears lately, still would like sleep to improve, energy is up.

I'm sure you know this, but be sure to let your doctor know that those values were obtained in a genuine trough (or as close a one as you will get on a twice-weekly injection schedule).
