Hi all names David I have been on trt since Sept of 2017. I was prescribed 200 mg every 2 weeks I currently am taking 50 Wednesday and 50 sunday as it has been making me feel more even. My original Free was 150 I am 36 so had the level of an 80 yo man. I was feeling like shit and suicidal. I currently feel great. I just received my latest lab results yesterday and still have some work ahead but I am in the lower normal range but my sbhg is low and my crit is high.. I started a never high fat low carb diet as I am also a well controlled diabetic with a a1c of 5.7. I look forward to learning more and possibly getting help from other people success with protocols.

Welcome,

You've come to the right place, many of us have been in your shoes. I originally was put on 200mg every 3 weeks and it was clear my endo had never done anything related to TRT before. He was far too quiet after all my questions and I got the impression he wanted me to go somewhere else for treatment. The guy had no enthusiasm and probably was burned out in his profession and in this day and age if you don't stay current, you become a dinosaur and only do harm to your patients.

My MANTRA...
Take what you need....
********************************
First step is education....
********************************
Cannot tell how much research you have done on TRT.
If not a lot, I recommend you get a few books.
Get a few good books and educate yourself now:
1. Get Nelsons book "Testosterone: A Man's Guide".
2. Get Lee Myer's book "Natural Versus Testosterone Therapy".
3. Get “Testosterone for life - Dr. Abraham Morgentaller “.
4. Get “The Definitive Testosterone Replacement Therapy MANual: How to OptimizeYour Testosterone For Lifelong Health And Happiness” by Jay Campbell.
These books will give you a much better understanding of TRT....
One other forum that has great info that might be useful to you is:

I do like Tiredthyroid as a starting point.
