Could I be deficient in something? Pretty desperate

Yea years ago. When this all started it would just happen randomly. Almost anxiety like for no reason. Mostly during the middle of the night. It would wake me out of my sleep. Or sometimes randomly during the day. I had an ekg done and and told everything was perfectly normal. I came across Magnesium deficiencies and I have ALL of the symptoms of that.

I was put on Metoprolol(?) 25mg/d and I think it took the edge off and I didn't think I experienced any negative side effects like sexual sides that are common with some beta blockers but I don't take it any longer, just stopped because I didn't want to chance the sexual sides showing up.

I do have a lot of symptoms of Lyme disease.
O.K.
I tell anyone that has long standing symptom's and can not get a diagnosis to rule out Lyme (that include Alzheimer's and Dementia patients).
Don't care where you live or what part of the country you are in, Lyme is there also.
reread this article again:
https://www.thecut.com/2015/06/what-its-like-to-have-severe-lyme-disease.html
and this one (If your old enough to know who kris Kristofferson is, this may interesting)
https://www.lymedisease.org/members/lyme-times/2016-fall-news/kris-kristofferson-lyme-disease/
And you can read your own test and see if you have issues and need to get concerned :

Personal experience here....
Daughter kept getting sicker, and sicker, and sicker...
The DRs she was seeing were ABSOLUTLY WORTHLESS (NOT saying yours are)...
The more I researched her issues, the more it sounded like Lyme.
I ordered the test for here and she sat on them and got sicker and sicker.
Unable to work, she broke down and went and got the test ran......LYME......
If she had listened to me earlier she might not have gotten as sick as she did, ending with about a year on antibiotics and slowly getting to the point she could go back to work.....
O.K. Off of my soap box now :)

Thank you for all of this info. I really do appreciate it. I worked outside most my life. But not really in any woodsy areas though. I have a friend that lives in the woods and would go out there every so often but that’s about it.

You are missing the point.
My Daughter lives in Tucker Ga., Just outside Atlanta (you can spit into the city boundary from Tucker)
NOT in the woods but in a condo.
Works in an office and NOT outside.
NOT an out door / woodsie person.
She has cats that go outside.
Most likely was bit by a nymph tick from a cat.
NEVER recalled being bitten.
NEVER had the "bulls eye" rash.
Current thought is that rats, mice, birds, squirrels may be carriers.
Tick habitat is EXPANDING due to weather changes....
Now they are finding different types of ticks may be carrying the virus, not just dear ticks.
You DONT need to be in the woods to be bit by a tick.
MOST people NEVER have the "bulls eye" rash.
MOST people NEVER remember being bitten by a tick.
MOST DRs will miss it... "Did you get bitten by a tick.... No... Then it is something else..."
Off of my Soap Box now.....

So if most doctor miss this, what is the best way to get tested? Also when you say, “ did you get bitten by a tick....no... then it’s something else...” are you saying only if I remeber? I read th links you posted and I have none of the classic bite symptoms, the ring ect which is common not to have according to that link. I would like to order my test myself if possible because Im unable ro work and any money I can save I have to.

1. "Also when you say, “ did you get bitten by a tick....no... then it's something else...” I was showing what goes on when a person sees a DR who is has not treated patients with Lyme and applies the CDC guidelines. One sided conversation... Go back and read the story of the Cardiologist who saw many, many, many top tier DRs who missed it..... AND what the outcome was for him....
2. "I read the links you posted and I have none of the classic bite symptoms". A LARGE population of people who have Lyme NEVER showed the "classic" symptoms of the red "Bull' Eye", or finding a tick on themselves or even remember EVER being bitten by a tick.
3. Are you in the U.S?
4. In most states you can order your own blood work if you can not get your primary care DR to order the WESTERN BLOT blood test.
5. Here is one on-line company that you can order your own blood test (there are a few states that do not allow you to do that and the site will tell you what they are)
LabCorp: Online lab testing is prohibited in MA, MD, NY, NJ and RI.
Quest Diagnostics: Online lab testing is prohibited in NY, NJ and RI.
6. https://www.walkinlab.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=westernblot
7. May be other providers that offer the WESTERN BLOT a bit cheaper, but you would have to search.
8. And you can read your own test and see if you have issues and need to get concerned :
https://www.lymedisease.org/lyme-bas...ase/diagnosis/
https://globallymealliance.org/about...nosis/testing/
http://www.lymedisease.org.au/about-...e-blood-tests/
9. IF you run the test, and clearly you have no positive results, you could place Lyme on the bottom of the list of conditions that you MIGHT have.

Thanks to Orrin, I've been thinking about getting this test. I searched and found the same LabCorp test (# 163600) for $108 with an additional 5% off if you use "welcome5" coupon code: https://www.econolabs.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=LC-163600
Good find.
Some additional info:
https://www.lymedisease.org/touched-lyme-new-cdc-stance-lyme-disease/
https://www.natureworldnews.com/art...to-of-poppy-seed-muffin-topped-with-ticks.htm
CDC stats are BS.
While the CDC shows most cases in the North East, part of that is for so, so, so long the CDC had maintained that Lyme was only in the NE.
DRs outside of the NE did not look for it. and based on CDC BS told patients that there was no Lyme in their area .... Thus they could not have Lyme.... Not sure what they had but were sure it was NOT Lyme because there was no Lyme in their area.....
BTW I am NOT saying that every unsolved medical mystery is Lyme as there are other tick born diseases and other medical conditions out there, but a simple blood test can help eliminate one possibility that may be over looked by a LOT of DRs...
