I have high shbg 80 nmol/L and TT of 18 nmol/L this is the 12 week after 3 ml of Nebido and I feel really bad, hot flusches and tierd and enxiety. I have been on Nebido for 3 years. Now I got a new endo and she don´t belive that I´m hupogondal at all so she says that I shall not take any testosteron for 3 month and then re-test to see. Is there any chance that I can recover in 3 month and get back to old base line?

You need to find a doctor who understands TRT, with your high SHBG you are going to need a more potent form of testosterone ester in order to force that high SHBG downwards so that you can free up some of your free testosterone. Nebido has an ester that is slowly releases T and you need a faster acting ester. In any case you need a new doctor because the one you have is clueless. As your doctor for Sustanon 250 once weekly injections or even ethanate.

There is no such thing as a more potent form of testosterone ester, just the length of the side chain of the ester whether (short/medium/long) which controls the rate at which the testosterone is released from the oily depot at the injection site.

Higher dose once weekly testosterone injections are what is needed to help lower ones shbg and Nebido is not prescribed once weekly due to the extremely long acting ester.

One could use testosterone cypionate/enanthate or sustanon (contains 4 esters - 2 short acting/1 medium acting/1 long acting).

It was the 20/10.
Nebido half life is approximately 90 days according to their website (but some websites/studies say it is much lower. Ranging from 20 to 90 days). Using the average here just to do some math. Lets use 55 days. After 110 days you would still have 25% of testosterone undecanoate in your body. So it would take 220 days to have very little testosterone undecanoate in your body (6.25%). So probably it will still take a while for your body to start producing testosterone on its own. So at the moment you are probably still shut down and have probably less than 50% of testosterone in your blood compared to 3 months ago. So no surprise you are not feeling good.

Now the question is? What shall I do now? I don´t think that my shbg will decrese, it has been this high sense I started to messure it under these 3,5 years I have been on trt. So eaven if my TT will recover to basline I guess I´m smoked due to the high SHBG. I guess these 3 month will be a really bad ride. So should I try to use gel under these 3 month just to cope with it? Is there any meaning to go without testosteron for 3 month and then do a test? The endo say that I don´t have hypogonadism, but with the high SHBG I guess it´s quite clear what my condition is.

I think your only option is to a find a new doctor. Where do you live?

I live in Sweden so thats not an option. I´m stuck with here. The helth care system makes me stuck with the docktor I get. I can get an second opinion but she is the one who will talk with the other specialist, so I guess it will be collored by here opinion.

Oh man sorry to hear thar. Do you have your labs pre TRT? If yes there were signs of hypogonadism? If you don’t have pre TRT labs can you get labs done without your doctor’s prescription? Your testosterone levels soon should show up pretty low in a lab result without the need to wait another 3 months feeling miserable. Did your doctor say how low your testosterone levels need to be so you she will consider treating to you? Is there any doctor specialized in TRT where you live so you can get a second opinion? Any antiage clinics?

Not to digress but this is a great example as to why our ( U.S. ) health care system should NOT be controlled by the government.
We may pay more but i can keep going from doctor to doctor until i find the one thats the best fit for me.

I can not believe you are pro US health care. It's not only broke like Swedens it cost 10 times as much.

Karlberg most of us go private. TRT is hated by medical insurance companies and lets face it that is who our doctors work for, not us.

I got treatment based on two readings. The frist reading was 11 nmlo/L and it was taken 13-10-17, 3 in the afternoon. (So this is failed she syes) Then I have a reading of 23 nmlo/L (this is a miss reading I belive). The second low reading was 8,7 nmol/L with a SHBG reading of 78 nmol/L taken in the morning not fasted. And I had all the sympthoms of low T. So my first doc based it on the reading of 8,7 and 11 nmol/L. He started me on testo gel and my first reading with tsto gel was 13,8 nmol/L so it was still low eaven with treatment.

for people who have high shbg nebido would not work then it would be more logical to use injections faster libercion, many doctors do not work with cypionate .. in that case the use of testosterone gel could work or not?
the release of testosterone is day by day
