I was on daily cialis. It helped my erections tremendously, but it wasn't long before I started losing sensation. . . aka "Zombie D*ck". My doctor could not explain the zombie D, but he did say it could be a side effect of the cialis.
It's definitely not a side effect of Cialis.

@DaveK22 No, none of those.

That is awesome then! Meaning whatever is causing your issue is likely "fixable" with further help from this forum's members advice...those 3 drugs I mentioned have "persistent" (or permanent) side effects even after stopping the drugs. Luckily that isn't your case here.

Encouraging to hear. So the current consensus is:

- get a thyroid check
- schedule a new Defy lab work & consult, and go with a doc this time

Anything else?

Also, I did mention your dropping your TRT to levels that might work better for you (we are all different and not all of us need 800 - 1000). More is not always better. Also, how are you sleeping? Sleep is critical for sexual function. And sometimes it's not anything organic - sometimes it's something as simple as opening up to your wife about what's bothering you that will restore the feeling. Avoid exotic animal parts for sale as these have not been shown to be effective other than as a placebo.

You lost that lovin' feelin'
Whoa, that lovin' feelin'
You lost that lovin' feelin'
Now it's gone, gone, gone, whoa- whoah.

@TMI You suggest I give up? I'd rather not. I agree that more is not always better. If the T receptors in the body are already saturated then more isn't going to help.

lake- there are a lot of people who could help you here, but they are probably asleep. Sleep is important, and can affect sexual function as I've already mentioned. Go to bed, if you could do that, please.

Out of curiosity you said you take an AI twice weekly, and you labs showed 20. So where in that cycle did you get labs? Was it just before you took a dose of AI?

Acctually Defy has me taking the AI 3x per week. I believe I took a dose less than 24 hours prior to those labs

Of note in the AI and labs timeline is that you should continue that dosing even the morning of your labs, take it per your usual routine. You don't want to be do for a dose that morning, draw blood, then take your AI.

At the request of Defy I wanted to clarify it wasn't the PA who advised me to increase AI to 3x per week but rather a nurse. They identified me from this thread & called. I was today advised to cease AI altogether as my E2 "has crashed".

I've got another consult scheduled at the end of the month so hopefully things will be back on track soon :)

I was not at 37 when I started with them. I had started TRT with a urologist/DO about 8 months prior, first on pellets and then IM injections, and ultimately I convinced him to let me try subQ injections. But there was no AI and by the time I started with Defy my E2 was like 55 or something, so that's why the doc started me on AI immediately.

Yeah, I figured a new consult, with a doc this time, might be in my future.

On a side note, I told a friend of mine who's a (fairly?) knowledgeable urologist how Defy had me also taking DHEA and DIM along with HCG. He about flipped, saying the DHEA is nearly pure testosterone and that I'm dumping far too much into my system. Might that be hurting my sensitivity?

I think it is really cool Defy visits here and get proactive if they see something that doesn't look right. Here's hoping they can get you back on track quickly. I'm a Defy patient but never use their PA or nurses I prefer to have my one on ones with a Doctor. In my case its Calkins.

I am really scratching my head on the comments of this knowledgeable friend of your. DHEA is T!?! I don't think so. DIM is nothing but a cruciferous, you know broccoli, brussels sprouts they are known to reduce E not boost T and HCG will only increase T if your balls are working. If you are primary hypogonadal then your ball aren't working so no extra T. I'd keep this guys as a friend but I sure wouldn't listen to any advice he offers.

Best of luck we are rooting for you.

Excellent points in these observations. The misinformation some doctors hand on, in all cases, I'm sure, in good faith, is astounding.

Had this issue. I thought it was the Bimix. I can go for 30 minutes, and sometimes it feels like I will never get there, and then all of a sudden, BOOM. Maybe she needs to get a little "rough" on you... ;)
