Viagra and Meal Timing

Buy Lab Tests Online
Anyone have any ideas on the best way to time Viagra around meals? I typically take cialis generic 5mg most mornings. Occasionally I like to take generic viagra if I know my wife and I are planning sex that evening after dinner. For me, cialis works ok, but viagra works far better, noticible to me and my wife as well.

What have guys experienced when planning around the evening meal? If taken 3 hours before eating, does it override the meal? A meal definitely negates a lot of its effectiveness for me.

Thoughts and opinions appreciated. Quality problem I guess.

I also like Viagra better. I try to have sex before a meal, I enjoy sex better on an empty stomach. When eating a meal, I try to take Viagra about 4 hours before I plan on having intercourse.

I also feel better doing it on an empty stomach. We only get to do that on weekends, as we go to bed pretty early and get up early. I find that low dose cialis enables spontaneity, but nothing tops that little extra viagra gives as an add on later in the day.

my doctor recommends taking the viagra at the highest dose I can tolerate. Definitely not going to argue with him!

It does take a little more effort when you're in your 60s. Planning is much more of a factor. I read a post of yours a while ago about daily low dose cialis supplemented with viagra and it definitely works well. I add 50 or 100 viagra and can turn the clock back 30 years. My MD says there are no risks as long as you remain fit. He told me most guys in their 60s are happy with once a week, but since TRT that seems like selling myself and the wife short.

Fun keeping my wife in shape this way...

The way that I get around it, a meal even 3 hours later affects the drug absorption, so what I do is take it sublingual, regular 25 or 50mg tablet. Plop it under your tongue and leave it there till it breaks down, happens within a few minutes. Keep in your mouth and gums and about ~20 minutes total swallow it down. Works pretty well for me. I too prefer Viagra over Cialis which for me seems to take hours 6-8 before it reaches full affect.
On GF days what I like to do is drop a 10mg Cialis oral/normal and then later when it's close to time, drop a 25mg Viagra sublingual. Works very very well in combination.

Thanks Vince. I'll give the under the tongue thing a try. I also find it takes more than an hour for it to get in my system as well. Definitely like to stack the Cialis with the Viagra.

Thanks Vince. This timing seems to work for me as well. Recent experiment with meal timing was successful.

Thanks CW. Will give the sublingual a try soon.

Hard to believe these stats on how few guys are using ED meds. Why???

For AARP article:

"And you might be surprised to learn how few older men use any erection drug at all: Sales of "vitamin V" have never reached more than about half of what experts predicted when such medications were first approved in 1998. When Cornell researchers surveyed 6,291 older men on the subject, 48 percent reported some degree of erectile dysfunction, but only 7 percent had ever tried an erection drug."

My Dad who's 84, hasn't has sex since his massive heart attack at age 60. Doctors put him on many different types of meds, the good thing, his mind is 100%.

Stats in a user reported survey are utterly useless for anything.

Well, that's a thread killer...

My point is the number is low. I wonder what keeps more guys from using pde5 inhibitors. I would think this should come on ever males annual physical exam.

Lets turn for a moment to our old friend, anecdotal evidence. My primary care physician, a woman who manages my TRT protocol, and my urologist, who initially prescribed Cialis for me five years ago, both raise the question of erectile function with all of their patients (they have told me). While many men will admit to dealing, or not dealing, with ED, many quickly brush aside the offer of a prescription. In the primary care setting I reference, might it be due to the fact that the doctor is a woman? A discomfort due to gender issues? The urological practice, a man treating men, is more puzzling.

As as I said, anecdotal, but of interest.

I'm 63, get a physical each year and have never had a PCP bring it up. I've been the one to bring it up when needed. Urologists I've seen always ask, but not general practitioners. You have a very informed PCP. Sad that this is not considered the indicator of good health and wellness that it really is.

As a matter of fact, I recently had a physical for insurance given by a nurse practitioner. I told her I was taking cialis and she said, " What allergy is that for?"

Have tried this and it works as advertised. Even with the standard generic pills.

Thanks Vince Carter. I'm nominating you for a Nobel Prize in medicine...

I would say many people are ill informed regarding pde5 inhibitors. More common than not to hear oh I am worried about the side effects, blurred vision seems to be the one that stands out or its bad for your heart and if I am still naturally functioning down there fairly well will it damage my love stick and make my functioning permanently worse let alone many who fear taking pharmaceutical aid due to the MAN MACHO PRIDE.....oh I do not need help............save my pride! So ridiculous as if you delve into the research there are many other benefits to using pde5 inhibitors especially improvements in vascular/endothelial system function let alone attaining a raging skin blade! Hell they are even treating BPH related symptoms with pde5s now.
