Test results - doc won't go AI

Gents,

Have been on testosterone cypionate injections for five weeks.
I inject 33mg, three times per week (mwf), for a total of 100mg weekly.

As you can see from my test results, my e2 is out of range. Further that, the canadian recommended uppper limit seems quite high itself. From some short researching, it seems like ideal e2 is around 25pg/ml or 100pmol/l. Can anyone confirm this?

The issue at hand is that the Doc is wary if prescribing AI medication to combat the e2. When asked why he says that it causes too many other ill effects. So what he has done has asked me to take indole 3 carbinol for the excess estradiol control. Couldn't find any studies that show this supplement to be effective for this purpose.

I haven't had any negative side effects other than libido is rather low. No issues with e2 or anything else really.

Does anyone have an opinion on this level of e2? If i were to go back and strongly suggest AI treatment to the doctor, what would be a good starting doseage for my particular scenario?

Thanks

So you're not having any negative effects of high E2 yet you want to lower it?

Why? Number concern?

I agree its a rather small concern that was very little of your post. You probably know it's the wrong E test but the right one isn't avail in canada. One of our esteemed Moderators actually gets' that test over the border when he can. Nothing wrong with trying some OTC measures like DIM, or Calcium D Glutarate.

Given that, where you live, you can't obtain a sensitive estradiol test, I would assume, based on your report units, and you have no symptoms, adding an AI to the mix seems unneeded. It certainly is going to complicate things.

I do travel regularly to the States and order my own e2/sensitive test. If you are within an easy drive of the border it could put your mind at ease - and give your doctor something more actionable to deal with.

Thanks for the replies and advice.
The only reason it gave me any concern was that my body has a tendency to retain water. If i don't control the amount, and type of carbohydrates that i eat, i bloat up very quickly, which also leads to my blood pressure raising. Currently i have my diet dialed in, and thus my blood pressure is good (good for me, 129 77), but I'm always concerned with, and looking for ways to reduce water retention. Perhaps i will also try calcium d gluterate.

I drink 600mL immediately upon awaking
I drink about 1.5L per day during my 2 hours of cardio training
500mL about an hour before bed

During the day i try to always have water with me, and i drink it freely as i get thirsty, hungry, or even just bored

Just thinking alloud here, seems like i would be drinking a minimum of a gallon per day. I don't drink coffee frequently, just the odd decafe. I will have the odd organic tea here and there, and no more than once per week i will have 2-3oz of scotch or bourbon, kept neat.

Sometimes i wonder if i drink too much water, cuasing mineral loss, so i mix some od my water with natural calm magnesium, and take zinc pills (amongst many other vitamins and minerals recommended by my doctor).

Maybe i should add that i only have one functional kidney. I have tried to find information on how this effects the human body but it is sparse. Even my specialist tells me that i function the same as a person with both kidneys but i often wonder if it changes how i retain and process fluids. I'm up for any information anyone has to share on the subject!!!

Thanks again to all the posters for sharing their wisdom.
