I am at the point of trying Trimix because ED meds are just not helping me. I can get hard naturally most mornings, but I don't stay hard long enough to finish. By nighttime, rarely happens at all. Viagra is hit or miss on producing anything other than congestion. I take a daily 5mg Cialis at night before bed.

I'm worried that if I go with trimix, is that it -- I'm on it for the rest of time? I want to have it around for when I absolutely want to have an afternoon in bed with my wife. She's been patient so far, but it's gotta be taxing for her to see me flail around in spite of TRT and meds. This wasn't an issue when we first got together.

No, you will be able to have erections without it still, the only thing is if you do continue to try to figure out and treat the underlying causes, the situation will continue to go in this direction and for that reason you may find yourself in a situation where you are relying on injecting your member frequently. What is your hrt protocol?

I'm on 140 (.7ml) of T once weekly. I take 1mg of Anastrozole a day later.

My last numbers from a few weeks ago:

T: 1079
E: 39
SHBG: 42

Are you open to input on a protocol such as that? Because I’d say that there is guaranteed room for improvement.
Also, is that sensitive e2 assay you got done or regular e2?

Always open -- the only input I have had so far is from my actual doctor. The only thing we have played with is the AI (it moved from .5 to .75 and now to 1). The test for E2 says "Roche ECLIA methodology." I don't know enough to know which one that is.

That is the wrong e2 assay. It is notoriously inaccurate for men use. You need to get a sensitive assay for e2(estradiol). Also, you are injecting exactly 2.5 times the amount of testosterone that makes up my protocol.

I’m 28 5’9” 190lbs 12%bodyfat.

I inject
5mg of testosterone enanthate daily
3mg of testosterone propionate daily

I’m actually about to begin injecting 15mcg of estradiol valerate daily in two weeks.

Your estrogen, as it’s reported on your bloodwork, should be 1/14 to 1/20 of your should total testosterone level.

ive injected more in a week than you. Up to 200mg weekly. However there is no comparison and I’d never go back to doing that. A healthy natural male makes roughly 70mg of testosterone enanthate or cypionate weekly.

There are men on this forum with e2 over 100 with a raging libido. I would not use an ai under any circumstance. Adjust your testosterone dosage for a sustainable natural t level and estradiol level

Also, be helpful to know your age and any cardiovascular risk factors. Hormones are only part of the erection picture. Are you doing anything to maximize Nitric Oxide (NO)?

If you are hitting a trough (7 days post-injection) TT 1079 ng/dl then with an SHBG 42 nmol/L your FT will still be on the higher end let alone peak TT/FT levels will be much higher post-injection (8-12 hrs)/during the first few days which will also have your e2 through the roof!

The main downfall of injecting larger doses of T once weekly especially IM is there will be a big difference in peak--->trough levels.

TT/FT levels will be very high post-injection (8-12 hrs) and elevated during the first few days only to be followed by much lower levels come weeks end which can have a negative impact on energy/mood/libido/erections/recovery.

Although TT is important to know FT is what truly matters as it is the active unbound fraction of testosterone responsible for the positive effects.

You are missing one of the most critical tests!

No brainer here that your FT level is going to be very high on such protocol (140 mg/week) yet you are struggling with issues let alone trying to manage estradiol with an AI.

You would most likely do better switching to more frequent injections as in twice weekly and lowering your overall T dose slightly.

The only way to know where your FT truly sits on such protocol (dose T/injection frequency) is to have it tested using the most accurate assays such as the gold standard Equilibrium Dialysis or Ultrafiltration (next best).

Just my 2 cents. IF your on anything else like anti depressant meds or anti seizure meds that may influence the ole north and south pointer. Case in point, myself been on TRT for over decade (now 56) and run things at the higher end with NO bad medical issues. However, I got shingles. Among my treatment options one medication given to me to combat the sheer agony of pain was gabapentin. Normally prescribed for seizures but off label dulls the pain of shingles. Yes it reduced the pain but killed my lidido and took willie on the sidelines. No morning wood, notta nothing. No lovely dovey with wife worked. Went from 3-4 erections during night to zip. Researched med and found it can dull sensations so much that the pecker was out of commission. Once I stopped the med and it cleared out of my system billy bad ass was back in the game! I will never ever complain about night time or morning woodies again. Hope this helps to check out other things that might be contributing to it brother. Good luck

Yes, the use of trimix does not affect the quality of the erections you have without trimix. I speak from 16 years experience using trimix. I began using trimix when ED meds were no longer enough.

However, once I first tried trimix, I never again tried to have sex without it. Probably over a 1000 times. The experience is so much better. Harder, longer. No anxiety, no failures. I am now approaching 80. There is no way I could penetrate at my age without trimix.

You absolutely keep normal erections. What you will probably find however is that you can become psychologically dependent on Tri-mix. By that I mean with the use of Tri-mix, you are good to go, guaranteed. And that is kind of the point. You never have to worry about it again. So then you decide to go without, and it can easily become a self-fulfilling prophecy/problem depending on where your mind goes with any doubt. The good news is that you will have the Tri-mix to fall back on if that happens and still have a great time.

Jason, can you tell us if Defy also prescribes the antidote injection for Trimix if they write a Trimix script for you? Thanks.

I'm 61, in pretty good shape, been on TRT about 1.5 years, 37.5mg twice a week SubQ in CMT oil I get from a friend (not easy to get in Canada, no doc will prescribe it). Before TRT, no libido. About 2 months after starting, bam, morning wood, no issues. Now, between Covd stress and work stress, morning wood mostly gone, and like others, can't maintain an erection long enough to do anything with it. Having sex with a half hard johnson is not very satisfying and to top it off, I definitely feel far less sensitive on the head.

What makes this doubly problematic is that my wife has a high sex drive; ie. At least every 2nd day and preferably every day and on top of that we are in the lifestyle so not being able to perform in a group setting or jsut with another couple is SO embarrasing.

My Urologist is going to prescribe Tri-mix in the next week or so but I have to go to a clinic so they can show mem the proper way to inject and figure out my best dose.

I sometimes wonder though if this is largely in my mind as opposed to my dick... I can masturbate and get rock hard (although admittedly it doesn't take more than 2-3 minutes to finish) watching porn but regular sex or even 3somes or 4somes I'm just... kind of ... eh...

I read about something called Porn Induced Erectile Disfunction. Basically a person gets de-sensitized to "regular" sex. Any thoughts? Will Tri-Mix fix this scenario? I still get horny as hell, I'm just wondering if my dick isn't getting the message so to speak...lol

I just went through the same experience. Spent a week thinking I was chemically castrated for the rest of my life. I’ve never experienced such terror or depression. Men should never take this drug.

Tried Trimix for 1st time a few days ago and wow, amazing. .10ml and got rock hard for an hour. Does increasing the dosage just increase duration? If I'd really like 1.5 hours, any suggestions on dosage?

Thanks
