This is Weird! Testosterone Scrotal Cream vs Injections

When I tried 100mg/day (1x morning application) that was my experience - I would crash in the evening. For me, I didn't see it as a good thing but could be for some people.

I am an avid bow hunter and will do week long hunts where I stay in the wilderness. I have some test prop on hand for those situations, but I feel so damn good on cream only

I've tried a few cream protocols. I feel better now on E3.5D (120mg/week) injections than I did on 1x/day cream protocol (100mg). I don't think 100mg/day was enough for me for symptom resolution.

It's a toss up between my 2x/day cream protocol (100mg AM, 50mg PM) and injections. I didn't have any HCT issues on cream and E2 was lower relative to TT. Erectile function/libido probably better on cream too.

But cream was kind of a PITA - felt like if I didn't shower before each application, it wasn't as effective. Applying the evening dose then hopping into bed with my wife always made me a bit nervous too. Also, this may be unique to my lifestyle but my wife and I do a lot of outdoor activities - not unusual to be in the backcountry for a week plus with no showers. Felt like the cream was less effective in those situations.

Now as I am trying Sustanon twice weekly, I had at least two honeymoon periods which lasted for around two weeks.
For me it seems like as soon as the testosterone esters become affective you get this libido and then goes away.
People with regular cypionate (one Easter) seems to have one honeymoon period.

maybe fast acting protocol like cream.
With high fluctuation to restart all levels(like t has to go really low to restart the system for you to get another good libido) is one of the reasons ?
For me I am 100% sure I had more than one really solid food honeymoon period in almost 40 days or 50 days time. Starting from day two thanks to propionate, and near the end of my 40 days.

I am still waiting to see if it comes again.

Libido has so many factors that contribute to it, a lot being mental. Even castrated men can feel the urge to have sex. My anecdotal experience is that even when my testosterone levels were 300ish ng/dl, I always had a very high sex drive. The only time I ever lost my sex drive completely is when I was in my mid twenties I did a testosterone and Tren cycle. Sorry for the rant, seems like libido is elusive for some guys on trt even when all other areas feel optimized.

Fascinating. My SHBG isn't as low as yours, it's borderline low. But been on TRT for 11 years and zero improvement in libido or ED. Cialis, not much help. Doxazosin, not much help. HCG, nothing. Tried it all.

Added a little T cream and lowered Cypionate a touch. DHT shot up as did TT. but, no improvement in what matters.

How was hair loss on 1x a day? How much did you apply? Maybe I need to try this.

Besides libido/ED, what is the difference in how you feel on just cream vs combined - mood-wise, etc etc.

Im a bit in the same boat struggling with libido.
Cream only —> poor mood, low libido
Injects only —> poor mood, low libido
At one point i said fuck this lets try an experiment and do a “high” dose and see what happens. So i did test E 50mg daily IM.
after 4 weeks, there was NO improvement in libido, but i had MUCH better mood!
But i gave up on this because my cream is prescribed and the injections not.. so i had no choice. So on a saturday i did my last daily shot. And sunday i started back up at 50mg creme 2x daily. And BOOM!! By sunday night i had raging libido and felt awesome! This lasted for 2-3weeks. And then feeling just mehh again..
so im really thinking of trying a combination of the 2. But not sure what protocol to start with?
Im wondering if the cream only gives me 2 much DHT and that is givong me low e2like symptoms? Idk...

good to know, I am just trying to see whatever helps at least after trying EOD va twice weekly I felt a lot of improvement. I will stay here for a while then restart and try once a week ! Trying to see if it will be even better. Not a lot of people experimented with sustanon at least I have went through multiple honeymoons (multiple esters) that could be something

This is what happened

Injection alone - Doesn't do shit for me no matter what protocol

Cream 2x a day - Felt Amazing, but due to horrible hair loss I stopped it but it was a miracle

Cream 1x a day - Felt great, not as great as 2x. Say about 75% of what I felt on 2x

now I'm doing injection + CreamScrotum - I'm not even feeling as good as I did with cream 1x a day. Still better than injection alone but not much better

It almost seems like injections just mess something up in the system, maybe low SHBG guys shouldn't have stable levels??? Because when I did injections the only other time I felt good was when I changed my dose, I'd feel good for a week or two then once bloods stabalize I'd feel like hell

250ius 3x week can be typical OR 2x per week. Maybe this will provide the baseline T that you were searching for with Test Cyp.

My e2 is very sensitive with Injections but that wasn't the case with the cream, I had e2 in 40s on the cream and still felt like a champ

With injections, my e2 has to be in a very little box or I feel like shit. It should be btw 21-25 and now I'm at 17

How do you know it's the E2 that is the issue instead of something else?

Not trying to be a pain, but your case interest me as I have never felt improvement in libido or ED on Test Cyp.

Because that is the only time I feel good, when e2 is in that little range. I'd loveeee to go back on cream solo but my hair can't handle it

I've settled on 3 clicks in the AM. (1 on scrotum, 2 on shoulders)
I also inject ~500iu HCG twice a week to keep my testicles plump and orgasms good.

TT 800-900 ng/dL 3 hours after injection with e2 around 20-30pg,mL.

It hasn't fixed my ED 100% that still causes occasional issues, and I'm not nearly as lean as I was on the injections. With that said, I feel consistently great with a pretty good mood. I'm not planning on changing anything at this point, just feeling consistently normal and forgetting that I'm even on TRT is all I could ask for.

T-cyp felt like injecting poison into my body, completely wrecked a year and a half of my life.

Very interesting article, I have tested high on Cortisol and the cream works well for me(see post above). I'm always at the top of or over the range in both blood and saliva tests. Negative for Cushings or anything like that.

I haven't tested Cortisol since starting the cream however. Ever since the cream starting making me feel better I cut back on all the reading and testing. I just check into the forum now and again to see how everyones doing and check for updates in the TRT world.

I think so, I tried many different dosages and intervals of HCG with T-cyp. I did T-cyp by itself, and even did HCG Mono too.

In the case of using the 500iu x2wk with the cream, I only do it for orgasms and testicle volume. I was doing the Cream for a good 6months before adding the HCG back in, and part of the reason I added HCG back in is because I have an unusually large amount on hand. A lot of it is due to expire this year unfortunately. I addition, I am somewhat Primary so the small amount I use probably does very little to my TT.
