Hey guys,

Recently I just came off Testosterone Cypionate at a very low dose of 10mg twice a week. I tapered from 100mg a week to 10mg a week for TRT and the dose I decreased to had no therapeutical impact on my system, I just wanted to give it a go and try it out. And my numbers on 10mg were in the 1000’s for TT which was crazy.

Well so far I am feeling pretty okay, not depressed, over stressed/anxiety and libido is a bit down, with no ED. Pretty satisfied since I have a kid and a wife, life stresses are the only concern lol.

Right now my current medication is 50mg twice a week of Clomid prescribed, and HCG 500iu three times a week (no AI). Supplements are 5000iu D3, and 100mcg K2. I had a very thorough blood panel taken and wanted some opinion on how I should go forward. My ultimate goal is to come off everything and see if my normal HPT axis starts up.

As of right now I am actually pleased with my numbers, my ALT was around 70-80 for almost a year, Cholesterol LDL was borderline over the norm. RBC was a little high but I was battling a cold that day. Hematocrit was always in check and hemoglobin.

I like where my SHBG, DHT, Estradiol, and testosterone seems to be fair for now.

I am assuming my LH and FSH are suppressesd due to the HCG? And probably still desensitized?

But this is my first antibodies panel for my thyroid... my numbers seem very high?? Can anyone comment?

My past symptoms were extreme anxiety and frequent urination triggered by fight or flight. All my tests related to my bladder were normal.

I find it hard to believe 10mg twice a week is seeing a Total T of 1000, you must be mistaking the dosage. No offense but it's so unbelievable that it's hard to take you seriously.

I think it's more like 1ml (100mg) twice weekly which you are mistaking for 10mg twice weekly. This explanation is very easy to believe and is more than likely.

Can you show us where on the syringe how much you are injecting and the vial strength so we can put this to bed?

Unable to comment on thyroid labs because Free T3 and Free T4 are missing, testing Reverse T3 without Free T3 makes no sense. You must test Reverse T3 against Free T3, otherwise it's a waste of money on testing.

It is a 1ml 200mg vial, I was using a 1cc 25g (100units) syringe and was drawing back to 10units which was taken twice a week. Plus my 500iu HCG three times a week and would take that three times a week in the past. I’m not here to stir up any chatter on what my labs were... but I am reading it as it is from my labs last month. I wish I was exaggerating, unless it was a bad test?

But I had other test combined which verified with the CAH 6 profile..

916ng/dL was done in Lab 01
1013.2ng/dL was done in Lab 03

I’m just reading and taking exactly what I was directed people... don’t shoot the messenger lol.

So it's 20mg 2x/wk (200mg * .10). Still interesting labs at that low dose.

Yeah I thought so too. I feel in another 3-4 months I should reevaluate my Thyroid and have all panels tested. TSH, T3, T4, RT3 and antibodies.

Can a common cold right at the beginning raise Thyroid Antibodies??

Assuming my T3 and T4 are normal... is it normal to have elevated thyroid antibodies when coming off T?

I guess what I am concerned about is the damage I did in the past, trigger auto immune diseases for example Hashimoto.

No. Coming off TRT does not trigger any thyroid disease. Some people are in the early stages of Hashimoto's (or they had a faulty test) so they don't show any decreases in free T3 or increases in TSH. Your TSH is pretty nice so I would run TPO again just to make sure.

That was what I was thinking, 3-6 months run it again with T3 and T4.

Now that I have stopped HCG for a week because I am on vacation, my quality of sleep has diminished. Been waking up at 3am. And late night bowel movements. Interesting.
