Hey, sorry to hear you`re having a difficult time.. it`s been about 2 months off clomid for me aswell.

Been both some good times and some bad ones.
I have faced the same realization as I did prior to starting trt.. If I`m gonna feel good, I have to really be strict with my diet. If I eat too much shit food for more than one day, things start really going south.

Libido has been really bad, but have had sex a couple times a week, with varying results.. :p
it`s definitely better now than 2 months ago though.

Mood is generally more stable than on trt, but energy levels and presence are def suffering a bit. I sleep a little better though.

Have taken a drop or two of liquidex a few times. That has helped, as long as I dont take too much.

I took a blood test last wednesday.. so I hope the results will be here before christmas.
I made the decision to go back on trt. Depression and apathy returned pretty bad and I made the decision to not go through all of that again

Understandable. What protocol are you starting?
I have thought about it myself, but I will try for another few months to make this work.

once you go on for a long time usually thats it. not because you cant recover but because of the mental fortitude it would take to possibly wait one year to feel normal again.

I too am strongly considering stopping TRT. It has done nothing for my libido which is why I started in the first place. Anxiety only got better recently, but it's because I'm taking a low dose antidepressant. You might think I have a low libido because I'm taking an antidepressant, but that would not be true. I have had little to no libido for years, with/without TRT. The anxiety from it led me to antidepressants and now I'm actually feeling better emotionally. My libido is exactly the same, the problem is TRT does not help for guys who started for libido reasons. Fertility is very important to me since I'm trying to have a baby, but you need a libido to get the process going. Sadly, TRT has not been the God send I was hoping for. Just curious if others feel the same as me.

In my case when I was on, I had good libido with some protocols, and bad with others..
What`s your e2? That could be causing your anxiety.

Ok, I got my bloodwork now. Blood was taken on the 12.12.2018
That`s almost 2 months after I stopped the serms.

Testosterone - 26,5 nmol/l !! that`s 764 ng/dl
E2 - 0,11 nmol/l 0,00 - 0.20 nmol/l
LH - 2,9 IU/l 1,7 - 8,6 IU/l
FSH - 0,9 IU/l 1,5 - 12,4 IU/l
Shbg - 57 nmol/l 14 - 74 nmol/l
Free test index 46,6% 20,9 - 89,1%

So, this was actually better than expected.. if that test reading is correct.
Looking at my shbg and free test and compare it to my previous test, it looks correct.

LH and FSH are lagging behind, but that could be because I got up at 0530 and had the blood drawn at 1000?

Shbg is higher than on hcg, as suspected.. That`s probably the main reason I still have low libido, not too much energy etc.
Erections are pretty solid, but the libido isnt there really.

Recent strength gains and maybe even a little muscle mass gain looks to support the test score.

Anyone here have successfully lowered their shbg without big shots of T?

Could single relatively big shots of propionate together with some AI be helpful to reduce shbg? Or does it take longer time?

Your protocol may be to blame.

I tried to message you Ken but it says I can’t for whatever reason?

I don't believe the protocol is to blame. I'm with Defy since this summer and trust that their giving me good advice. I'm currently taking about 164 mg of Testosterone Cypionate split into two doses per week and 500 iu's of HCG 3x per week. I take two 0.125 mg of an AI per week as well. I started at 180mg per week when I was with an endo, but then dropped to 100mg at the beginning of the summer. I went through all the emotions of dropping that fast, but then leveled out. Since August I've been working with Defy and they had me at 140mg then 164mg in an attempt to get my Free T in the ideal range. My SHGB is like 23 and E2 is either too high or too low. It's very hard to balance. This non existent libido has predated TRT and the anxiety predated the non existent libido. I've always had a low grade general anxiety since I was a child. Nothing like panic attacks or phobias, but an anxiety that lingers in my day to day life. Anxiety is a libido killer so that's why I believe the antidepressant is actually helping me, rather than hurting my libido. I'm a lot more relaxed now, my performance anxiety is the main issue I suffer with. I've been on TRT for close to a year now, but have never regained my libido. I'm still holding out hope that the TRT plus antidepressant will give me that sexual vigor I lack, but the clock is ticking and baby making needs to happen. I'm 43 and my wife is 37 so we're still trying for that one more. I'm going to see if I can get a sperm analysis done to see if this HCG has been helping at all in keeping my fertility.

I started out the year doing HCG monotherapy, but got knocked off with my insurance, then started TRT. To be honest, my endo could not tell me whether or not I was primary or secondary. My TT and FT did not budge while on HCG Mono, but she could not definitely tell me that I was primary.

Damn I’m jealous of those numbers. After 1 month, my total t dropped to 473 (264-916) and my free t dropped to 6 (9-26)..

I gave it another two weeks after that and continued feeling worse before I jumped back onto the injections.

40 mg test-c 2x per week
.25 mg anast 2x per week
500 iu hcg 2x per week

With fluctuating e2 it`s really hard to get good results, especially when it comes to libido and anxiety.. that`s my experience anyways.

Is it a possibility your hcg is too high? your shbg could possibly get a little higher if you go to 3 times a week with the test. That might make e2 a little easier I think.
Does Defy prescribe FSH? I have read several positive results with combining hcg and fsh for fertility.

If you don`t respond much to hcg, you are likely to some degree primary.
A restart isnt a good idea if that`s the case I think.

Ah, that`s a bit over where i was pre trt. Did not feel good ^^
I had some success with several day fasting every now and then during and after pct.. definitely made me feel much better.
When you get down to a low level of T, it`s hard to metabolize carbohydrates effectively it seems.. I always would feel horrendous after eating alot of carbs, and could reset again and feel good after a few days fasting.. then slowly introduce carbs again whilst my T rose.
Will still feel most low T symptoms if I binge on sugar tho.

Hope you have success with your new protocol.
I might join you if I cant get the results I want.

What`s your e2? That could be causing your anxiety.

What protocol were you on when your libido was at its best?

Did you have to use any PDE5 drugs like cialis or viagra while on TRT to get an erection or was your erection always solid?

How are things now? Do you get an erection easily and maintain it without any drugs?

When my libido was at its best, I was on about 150 mg test cyp, 250iu hcg 2x week and some arimidex.. I actually think it was best when I wasnt using so much adex.. Awful drug.
In hindsight and with my experiences during pct and after - I truly believe arimidex was the reason I couldnt make my trt work.

Used some liquid cialis a just a few times over 1,5 years, but was mostly for fun.

Now things are getting a little better all the time, but it takes a long time it seems.
almost 3 months post pct now.
Libido isnt raging, but I can get and maintain an erection for as long as I need without cialis. I do use it ever couple of weeks to give my gf a treat though :p

Hoping my shbg will get down towards 30 atleast over the next months. If not, I might start trt again.

So your testicles don`t respond to hcg at all?
Were you diagnosed as primary hypogonadal prior to starting trt?

If that`s the case, going off is not a good option for you I`m afraid.

I was on 100 iu ed hcg prior to going off. 3 days after last prop shot, I increased it to 200iu ed for the next 17 days.

For the last 4 days of those 17 days, I also took 10mg Nolvadex, up to 20 when I got off hcg. This seemed to smooth the transition from hcg to serms.

I used Nolva with the Clomid because I have used Clomid before, and I get crazy anxiety and really bad well being on higher doses..
I also was afraid of meddling too much with my shbg with higher doses and prolonged use of serms.
So I used only 12,5 of clomid and 20 nolva, reducing after 2 weeks.
This is considered VERY moderate dosing for a pct.

I think consulting with Dr.Crisler is a very good idea.
I wish I had access to doctors of his caliber in Norway.
Hi there - I'm looking for a doctor in Norway to prescribe Cypionate (I know this is not likely) Enanthate. I see you were able to get it. What protocol did they put you on? Could you recommend your doctor?
