Nebido - not sleeping well

These are my test results.

On 8 June I had my first Nebido shot. Since then I have been sleeping quite bad. We are now in week 4 and I continue to sleep bad. My eyes have sunken a bit, showing my tiredness. Not sure how long I can keep this up, especially with work. But since it's Nebido, a long acting ester, I have to ride it out.
A positive aspect, I feel my erections have improved.

I sleep around 10 to midnight. Even if I sleep about 7 to 8 hours, I still get up tired, as if I'm not getting good quality sleep. Has anyone else noticed this on trt? Any tips on trying to improve?

This is quite common since levels are not in a steady state yet, but with nebido half-life being so long it will be some time (months) before you reach a steady state.

There us only one thing you can do, wait it out.

I'm not on TRT and what works for me may not work for someone else.

To improve deepness of sleep (not to fall asleep), L-Glutamine works for me, about 10-15 grams/day. Again it is not a sleep inducer like Ambien, but increases the sleep deepness and satisfaction. If I overdo L-Glutamine, it makes me tired during the day.

Another recent find is Pycnogenol 30-60mg/day. There is only one study that claims Pycnogenol reduces adrenaline and dopamine, which may make you sleep deeper. However, overdoing it may make you depressed.
