Maintaining Testosterone Levels with PCT type supplements alone

Curious to find out if anyone is maintaining good testosterone levels by just using PCT type supplements.

I am 52 y.o with a total testosterone reading of 719 ng/dL. Unfortunately estro and free test readings were not taken. I keep my body weight on the low side (BMI-Under 21), in addition to doing weight training and aerobics. Not a lot of bulk, mostly definition.

I am not on TRT, however I am using PCT type supplements. The supplement I am using contains a test-estro modulator and a cortisol modulator. I am also using some herbal testosterone boosters. Results on sex drive are OK but not great. I don't have a strong drive or desire to have sex, however, when I am actually with someone, I have no performance problems at all.

Anyone else using PCT type supplements with any success?
Could I be also using other supplements to enhance the supplements I am already taking in order to improve sex urge and desire?

Personally, taking "PCT supplements" when you have such nice natural level of testosterone is tricky. When you say PCT, do you mean post cycle therapy? Have you taken anabolics or testosterone in the past and that is why you are seeking info on PCT? There is no such a thing as PCT supplements (unless a supplement company is falsely claiming to have such things).

Which "estradiol or testosterone modulator supplements" are you taking?

I have good results in increasing sex drive by increasing the fullness and awareness of my genitals with low dose daily Cialis and nitric oxide boosting supplements/injections. Cold and shriveled penis/balls are not conducive of wanting to have sex or masturbate. Penile and testicular "fullness" for some reason wakes up my sex drive.

Hi Nelson. Yes, I am referring to Post Cycle Therapy. I have applied androgel in the past, but stopped a long time ago when it stopped producing results.
The supplement I am taking contains the following, I am not sure if my T levels would be as high without them:
Test-Estro Modulator:
Androst-3,5-dien-7,17-dione 75 mg
Estro-Metabolize:
Diindolylmethane (DIM) 200 mg
Cort-Control Matrix:
7-Hydroxy-17B-Dihydro-Dehydroepiandrosterone 25 mg
7-Hydroxy-Dehydroepiandrosterone 25 mg

Yes I agree with you Nelson, heat and warmth causing that "increased awareness" as you mentioned does do wonders for your sex drive.

If I had a natural total testosterone of over 500 ng/dL, I would not take any over the counter prohormone products at all. All of them can affect the hypothalamic pituitary gonadal axis and possibly increase liver enzymes.

By the way, erectile dysfunction drugs like Cialis and Viagra (sildenafil) actually increase testosterone blood levels.

Andrology. 2013 Nov;1(6):913-8. doi: 10.1111/j.2047-2927.2013.00131.x. Epub 2013 Sep 18.
Sildenafil increases serum testosterone levels by a direct action on the testes.Source
Valley Medical Group, Endocrinology Department, Greenfield Health Center, Greenfield, MA, USA.

[h=3]Abstract[/b]Phosphodiesterase-5-inhibitors, such as sildenafil, increase intracavernosal cyclic guanosine monophosphate levels, which results in corporal smooth muscle relaxation and penile erection. Here, we determined the effects of sildenafil administration on the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis in men with erectile dysfunction and low testosterone levels. The Testosterone and Erectile Dysfunction trial (ClinicalTrials.gov # NCT00512707) initially administered an optimized dose of sildenafil to 140 men, aged 40-70 years with erectile dysfunction, low serum total testosterone (<11.4 nmol/L; 330 ng/dL) and/or free testosterone (<173 pmol/L; 50 pg/mL) over 3-7 weeks. Sex steroids and gonadotropins were measured at baseline and after sildenafil optimization in a longitudinal study without a separate control group. Serum testosterone, dihydrotestosterone (DHT) and oestrogens were measured using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. Administration of an optimized dose of sildenafil was associated with mean increases of 3.6 nmol/L (103 ng/dL; p < 0.001) and 110 pmol/L (31.7 pg/mL; p < 0.001) in total and free testosterone levels respectively. This was accompanied by parallel increases in serum DHT (0.17 nmol/L; 4.9 ng/dL; p < 0.001) and oestradiol (14 pmol/L; 3.7 pg/mL; p < 0.001) and significant suppression of luteinizing hormone (change -1.3 units/L; p = 0.003) levels, suggesting a direct effect at the testicular level. Androstenedione and oestrone increased by 1.3 nmol/L (38 ng/dL; p = 0.011) and 10.7 pmol/L (2.9 pg/mL; p = 0.012), respectively, supporting a possible effect of sildenafil on adrenal steroidogenesis. In conclusion, sildenafil administration was associated with increased testosterone levels likely ascribable to a direct effect on the testis.

I think I will start to ween off of the PCT supplements and see if my T remains as high as it is. Then just stick to the seminal supplements of muscle gain: BCAAS, Protein, Creatine, NO2, etc. Thanks for your input Nelson.
