Trying to figure this out. Background, Started TRT about a year ago after noticing I had all the signs of low t and getting tested at 270 at 48 years of age. The clinic I was using injected TRT and HCG. Normalized my Test level at about 800 for the first couple months after a large spike on a once-weekly dose of 100 where the trough was at 1500. Reduced to once weekly at 75. T measured 800ish, Estradiol ultimately spiked to well above 50. They then recommended an AI, overprescribed the dosage and crashed my estradiol level to less than 5, that was horrible. Switched clinics went from shots to pellets on a quarterly basis no HCG. Have been doing this for 6 months. The last check-in a month ago test was 1100, free t 26, estradiol 24. In theory, this seems pretty darn good. However, my desire for sex has basically disappeared. When I first started T had morning wood and a stiff breeze got me wanting to have sex again. Physically everything is working when it's time to have sex. Mentally though I am struggling with desire and sex drive. I do drink regularly and no drugs. I'm in very good shape physically, 195lbs, 14% body fat, workout 5 times a week, a relatively low-stress job as a consultant who works from home. When I started T my mood was fantastic most days, now it's closer to what it was when I had low T. Ordered the 4 step cortisol test today. I take tadalafil daily 5mg. I have been a lurker on this board for a while and really could use some of your thoughts. Thank you in advance.
