Definitely noticed a improvement in libido and overall well being when increased to 200mg. Estrogen. Mabey a little more water retention. I’m on losartan 200mg day. B/p. Averaged 125-130 in 150 mg. In 200mg. I average 135/80. Moody ness. My wife has always said I was moody and blamed the test. Me. My moody ness has always felt like a response to family and marriage

More interested in seeing where your trough FT level truly sits.

No point in posting FT unless it was tested using an accurate assay.

Too many get caught up on TT and although it is important to know FT is what truly matters as it is the active unbound fraction of T responsible for the positive effects.

As you should very well know from being on the forum long enough that men with lowish/low SHBG can run a lower TT and still achieve a healthy FT level.

With a TT 1000 ng/dL and lowish/low SHBG.....FT is going to be through the roof.

Your labs above from the previous protocol 150 mg T/week split (75 mg every 3.5 days).

As you can see your trough TT 733 ng/dL is far from what would be considered high and more importantly, with a lowish SHBG 20 nmol/L your FT is high although it was most likely not tested using an accurate assay and would most likely be closer to the upper end.

Again the only way to know where your FT level truly sits is to have it tested using the most accurate assays such as the gold standard Equilibrium Dialysis or Ultrafiltration (next best).

Even then on your most recent protocol 200 mg T/week split 3X (Tuesday Thursday Saturday) your trough TT 1044 ng/dL is on the higher end and seeing as you are waiting on your SHBG then I would say there is a good chance that your trough FT level is absurdly high as in almost 40 ng/dL (if SHBG is still 20 nmol/L) and for all we know you may have driven down your SHBG further which would have your trough FT even higher as you drove your T dose from 150 mg--->to a whopping 200 mg/week!

Top it all of that your trough estradiol (LC-MS/MS) is really high.

Why you would make such a significant jump in your T dose going from 150--->200 mg/week knowing you have lowish SHBG 20 nmol/L is beyond me.

When a protocol is tweaked (increase/decrease T dose) 12 weeks is needed to truly gauge how one feels regarding relief/improvement of low-T symptoms and overall well-being let alone whether one can state it was truly a success or failure.

If you truly feel well overall, minus sides and blood markers are healthy then I would not be too concerned if your FT is very high.

This would be expected as you increased your weekly T dose drastically.

Even then I would put money on it that the boost in libido will be temporary and short-lived and will level off once blood levels have stabilized.

You may very well be one of the lucky ones if you end up maintaining a strong libido in the long run!

Labs were drawn after 6 months. At 150. I felt I could be better. I’m 45. And wanted to feel I guess maxed out. For once in my life.
Now I feel great.recover fast. Libido is great. But when I don’t get laid enough I’m to damn horney. Wife has low libido so as becomes non existent I will have to drop back down.
Shgb and free t are send out s. I have to go get paper copies 2 days usually after online labs.

mall other labs are good. Blood pressure’s good. Got some research chemical tadalifil. 2.5 mg. No Ed problem. For its gum effects. Man that’s awsome. Will ask doctor for rx. Like I said. I’m 45. Want to feel and look 25. As long as it’s safe. I’m a seasoned Nurse so I keep a close eye on everything

honestly don’t feel any side’s of high estrogen. Any long term down side to estrogen this high. By long term Mabey 5-10 years or as long as I able to remain super active. Can really trust google searches. Have no intention of running this dose for ever.

Yep, sex hormones have been largely ignored in western medicine for decades and steroids in general are still viewed negatively by many doctors.

There is no long term data on high estrogen in men.

This is the wrong test.....cFTV.

Most likely one of these 2 as both state.....The concentration of free testosterone is derived from a mathematical expression based on the constant for the binding of testosterone to sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG)

As I stated previously you are hitting a high trough TT 1044 ng/dL and your SHBG is only 23 nmol/L which would most likely have your trough FT in the high 30 ng/dL range.

You can either purchase the Equilibrium Dialysis or Ultrafiltration.


Many in the know would tend to use/rely upon Labcorp Ultrafiltration (reference range 5.00-21.00 ng/dL).

Just thought I’d post the new more accurate results of 200mg week 66mg Tuesday Thursday Saturday. Labs Tuesday am
