I feel like I have not been totally honest with folks on this forum. I don't know how, but my testosterone jumped up very fast (less than 2 months) to OVER THE MAX LEVEL. Now I have BPH that doesn't respond to Flomax or Uroxatral. My blood pressure jumps up to 164/xx on some bad days, and frequent pounding headaches. My urologist said to use Clomid to cut my dosage down to 0.5 mL / week of T-Cyp. But the Clomid makes me so F**king miserable that I actually feel like I'm going through menopause (and I'm just a 40 year old guy). Here are my latest blood labs:

Does anyone know the quickest (safe) way possible to lower my testosterone?

What's your T protocol (medication, dosing, and injection frequency)?

Your SHBG already on the lower side. Cut the T out for 7-14 days. You'll be down below 1000 ng/dl TT.

This is a very strange decision, instead of just lowering your dosage.

You need to tell us how much test you're injecting, because I think your doctor is going to be useless guiding your treatment going forward.

Clomid has a terrible side effects profile and I can't for the life of me understand why your doctor went this route.

I've been injecting about 2 - 3 mL's per week of T-Cypionate. I know that is a super-huge amount. Allow to at least explain one important thing.

At first, I started out with Royal Med. They said only use intramuscular injections into your thigh - 1 mL per week. But then I did my homework and some research, and I was drawn to switch over to Defy med. During my first phone consultation with Defy Med, the practitioner said that they prefer doing SubCutaneous shots (as opposed to traditional Intramuscular shots). From that moment on, I did Subcutaneous testosterone shots.

About one or 2 months after starting Subcutaneous shots, my blood test showed that my total and free testosterone went over the maximum.

All I changed was the route (SubQ vs IM), not the amount. That's when my blood labs showed that my numbers reached a toxic level.

The quickest way to lower your testosterone is to stop injecting it. If these were my labs, I would wait a couple weeks and then restart with something like 1/4 to 1/3 of what you'd been taking. And I would definitely not be taking any clomid.

Not being critical. I'm not against people experimenting. You went from 200 mg/weekly to 400 mg to 600 mg. I see you have low SHBG. Based on that, I would surmise that 200 mg/weekly would produce robust total and free testosterone. To contrast, I have moderate SHBG and 100 mg, IM/weekly gives me a total of 889 and free of 240.

And in all of this, feeling utterly miserable, how was your erectile function? I understand it wasn't on your mind but, since you ventured into supraphysiologic territory, I have to ask. I've talked to a few men who experimented with 500 mg/weekly and they told me their libido/erectile function was in criminal territory.

*that awkward moment when you realize your TRT provider reads the same forum where you posted about taking 600 mg a week*

My sexual function is the reason I started TRT. That and of course to get back in shape.
Sexual function was decent - until like 6 weeks ago when my prostate became enlarged. I informed my urologist, but all he could do was give me Clomid because he thought that would be a practical way of tapering off (or down) from my high dose of t-cyp.

There's nothing practical about it, your urologist is out to lunch!

The common sense and practical approach to tapering down your levels is to reduce your T dosage. I think it's high time to start searching for a new doctor to manage your TRT, because should you encounter anymore problems on TRT, you're going to need someone more competent.

Systemlord,

Are you serious? Do you have any possible links to some verifiable sources so that I can print those pages out and bring them to my doctor in order to convince him to let me try Cialis?

Eli Lilly's Cialis was approved as an ED treatment in 2003. The new approval is based on clinical trials showing that 5 milligrams of Cialis once a day improve BPH symptoms.

I have read this post a few times now, and I give up. I still dont understand it. How did you get to the point mentally where you said f it I am going from 1 to 3 ml per week of TC (200 mg/ml)?

Compare your words in this post against the beautiful plots you shared earlier in the thread. What am I missing here?

I don’t know if I’d call 600’s free t toxic so much as hilariously high. If I read all this correctly you injected 3ml subq? Did it leave a giant mound there?

Like others have said, if you stop injecting test, your test will go down. You wouldn’t take that other stuff unless you wanted to come off TRT and that’s a different thing.

If you're in the US, you can buy tadalafil from India. ADC is one of the reputable sites. If he prescribes brand, empty out your wallet.
