How long does it take for AI to work?

Hello, how are you guys doing?
How long does it take for anastrozol to work?
I was in 33,79 pg/ml e2 and started anastrozol 0.5mg EOD and tested again now and im in 30pg/ml e2, and considering in that period I started daily injections which is supposed to lower e2.
How long does it take in general? Can I be an underresponder?

Yes supposedly a lot of AI but had nearly no effect on estradiol levels (33 to 30 in like one month, and did dailies in that period also)
Symptoms: very high nipple sensitivity, some gynecomastia, poor erections, poor libido, anxiety, brain fog.
And after trying every type of protocol, last one daily injections 15mg E, those symptoms did not improve but yes I felt much stronger muscles, more acne, so im guessing estrogen is the problem. 33 pg/ml doesnt seem high but I want to try the hypotesis of those who say e2 has to mirror shbg (15) because if not there is to much free E.
Opinions on why anastrozol nearly didnt work? How long does it take usually?

On dailies 3 weeks, but I already feel the effects, and are exactly the same as with weekly injections: stronger muscles, more acne, maybe faster growing beard, but symptoms persist nipple sensitivity, poor erections, low libido, brain fog, anxiety, little gymecomastia.

I took an blood test today and those values im getting on friday. But usually 350-550 TT and 10-11 free T. Shbg:15 pre trt, have not tested since (too expensive here)

Ok, so I’m going to guess 1) you need to give this 5-6 more weeks before you mess with anything 2) your symptoms are from TT & FT being too low, not e2 being too high. If you do anything, I’d suggest getting your dose up a bit

Bro, Ive been waiting for months, literally from June last year injecting and is always the same outcome. I would think the same thing, but I feel arms and other muscles much stronger and they are bigger, with every protocol. But symptoms persist, so I think there is something more to it.

Yeah, symptoms are still there cos your TT is 350-540 on TRT and FT is 10-11. That’s very low. You don’t need an AI, you need more test.

How much time do I have to wait? I have been injecting since June in very high doses, and also I feel the effects that im describing, specially more muscle mass

I don’t know how long it will take for your AI to lower e2 to whatever lower number you’re looking for. I do know that it will not make you feel better tho.

any protocol change they’ll usually tell you 6-8 weeks before you feel normal. I know you’re focusing on the better muscle & whatever and that’s good, that’s to be expected when you get on TRT for most ppl, but in regards to the bad symptoms you’re feeling, my advice stays the same: get TT & FT up higher than 550, don’t worry about AI, or if you can’t bring yourself to stop AI then just so .25mg 1-2 times a week, .5 EOD will have you feeling like garbage in about 10 days

I agree that I should try to raise total t and free t and thats what i have been trying to do, with no results. On friday i will update results after 21 days on daily injectioks protocol. However, can anyone explain how without raising free T, on every protocol I feel my biceps hard as a rock and i get acne, and my erections are better (from 15% to 35%) but no improvements on the symptoms (or full erection in that case)?
I cant understand it.

In the past, I've felt the effects of .125 AI within 24 hours of taking the tab. However, my E2 was 95! You really need to post your labs here on Friday so we can see all your numbers.

If your past Total and Free T numbers are any indication you need to up your dose. For example, if your Free T numbers (10-11) are from LabCorp, I would consider that very low. I had Free T of 8 when starting TRT and I felt awful. I'm low 30's now with a Total T of 1100 and feel incredible, decent libido (it takes time), low visceral fat, good energy, no brain fog, muscles and strength increasing weekly. Keep us posted.

Yes but raise the dose until what point?
200mg/week was still free t of 10!
I will post on friday total T and free T after 21 days of 15mg daily

Need more than Total and Free T numbers. Post your entire lab report here - SHBG, E2, TSH, etc. If you're not sure what to post, search threads here of others that have posted their labs / bloodwork results to see the preferred format. You'll receive better advice that way.

Also, are you seeing a TRT specialist or General MD?

Ok, so I got the results:
Total T: 1213
Free T: 24
So after injecting daily 15mg for 21 days I have raised my free T for the first time, with all the previous protocols (including 200mg/week) I couldnt raise it from 10-11, now with dailies I got my first results with higher free T, and also total T went from range 300-400 to 1200.
The thing is I feel exactly the same,
Stronger muscles, but still nipple sensitivty, fat accumulating around nipples, poor erections, poor libido, brain fog, anxiety, poor concentration.
My estradiol is arouns 30 right now, SHBG was 15 pre trt.
So what should I do? Go with a bigger daily dose? Stick with the protocol more time? (I think it has reached the stable level already), mirror estradiol with shbg?
