Hi guys,
I'm on TRT almost 2 years. As the effect was poor (I'm struggling with low sex drive and ED almost all the time), I'm experimenting with dosages (100-300mg/wk), forms (sustanon, cream, enanthante) and injection frequency.

Now I'm on 60mg of t.enanthante e4d.

These are blood test results from this week (day after the injection).

E2 - 19,0 pg/ml (11-44)
Progesterone - 0,14 ng/ml (0,1-0,2)
Prolactin - 9,57 ng/ml (3,46-19,4)
TT - 908,21 ng/dl (47-980)
DHT - 903 pg/ml (143-842)
SHBG - 24,6 nmol/l (13,5-71,4)

Seems to be all ok but still have isuess with the sex drive and ED.

What you think ?

You could try some Viagra. Just having wood seems to improve men's sex drive.

I’m using this - ED is still present.
Have you ever abused steroids or do you have other medical problems?

I mean clearly you do or you wouldn't be having ED. If you really want us to help you figure out what's going on we're going to need a lot of info, thyroid, vitamins and minerals status to give us a bigger picture of your overall health.

What's your blood pressure?

Do you drink alcohol?

How is your sleep?

Do you exercise?

Sorry. I’m 40 yo.

Yes, I was a steroids user (not heavy). Max. 200mg test/wk + others (master, tren but not more than 100mg/wk).

My blood pressure is relatively good: 130-140/70-80. I’m quite fit (~17%bf) and I train regularly (mainly: gym, running).

Alcohol - normal (once / twice per week). Right now I sleep well (approx.7h). Before (with the higher testosterone dosages I had difficulties with it. Due to that I was taking sleeping pills but I stopped it 2 months ago).

I take cialis/viagra - it helps but not always (sex drive is low). Any ideas ?

Libido and erectile strength can be tricky on TRT sometimes, some guys are more sensitive to the long gradual peaks and troughs and for these guys frequent injections are key.

I don't even respond to TRT injecting 1-2x weekly. The benefits start when on very frequent dosing.

“Very frequent” means every day I assume. Can I use propionate ?

Does anyone else have any other ideas?

Are you taking other androgenic compounds (steroids, SARMS, SERMS) besides TRT?

If not, you should go to an Urologist to check the blood vessels in your penis - they may be leaking and that's why you can't get a good erection with Viagra.

IMO, the main issue is low sex drive. I'm not so horny like I used to be (I would say it's close to zero somedays). If I'm then there is no issue with ED. So I assume that rather it's a problem with hormones.

What you think about T:E ratio ?

This is the key here. When you say you have a low sex drive, do you mean there is little sex drive in the loins specifically? Such as a loss of sexual sensation in the penis and scrotum and the urge or need for sexual release that we feel in the groin is either missing or very muted? If your ED disappears when this "libido" returns, your ED, in my opinion occurs due to this missing sexual sensation or stimulation in the genitals.
In some men on TRT, I think this is caused by a loss of their gonadotropins and possibly other missing hormones. I also think it can be caused by taking too much testosterone and all the negative flow on effects this can have. Excessive T may increase sympathetic activity in the erectile tissues and exacerbate other inhibitory mechanisms that maintain flaccidity in these tissues.
Sexual sensation in the penis is a vital part of erectile function for most males.

Given your reply, the answer to my questions must have been yes?
Have you tried adding hCG or Ovidrel to your protocol?
If it were me, I would consider a lower dose of testosterone.
How long did you use steroids for?
What was the reason for starting TRT, did your T not return satisfactorily post AAS use?
Your lab report implies you may be in the UK or AU?

You could try supplementing with some estradiol valerate or dhea if you can find some.
Or just lower the dose 10mg per shot and wait a few weeks, then lower again if the problem persists.

Hi,
That’s right - the answers to your questions are “yes”. I’ve tried to add HCG (different dosages / protocols - 250-1000 units, from eod to once per week).

I used AAS almost 8 years (but as I mentioned, I was not a heavy user). I decided to start with TRT as I was struggling with my health (blood pressure, issues with my sleep, ED issues) and (overall) I wanted take care of myself.

I’m from Europe (living partially in Germany and in Poland).

hCG did not help you at any time with all those trials? How much T were you taking during those trials with hCG?
When you decided to start TRT, were your natural levels of T at the time very low and if so had you already been off AAS for some time? Did a doctor suggest your health problems were from low testosterone and or AAS use?
8 years is a considerable time to have been using AAS and the possible detrimental effects that may have occurred could be playing a part in your sexual issues now.
Did your sexual issues become evident during your period of AAS use and were never resolved?
As I mentioned before, the loss of our gonadotropins due to TRT can be a real issue for many guys sexually. Testosterone on its own is not enough to enable proper sexual functioning in some men.
Have you tried a low dose of T with hCG?
