Interesting, I have taken 50-75mg of NPP in conjunction with my cypionate for HRT for about 4 months. I found that after a few weeks the pain in my left knee went away and resolved an issue with a weak wrist while lifting dumbbells. Two weeks ago I had similar symptoms as you described. The dissociative disorder (really weird), anxiety, increased heart rate, and some blurred vision which then caused anxiety and slight dizziness. My first thought was that my body was fighting off some type of infection. After reading your information I am stopping NPP. Currently I am taking CoQ10. Would you advise against this supplement?
The other day, I experienced what I would consider the opposite of the dissociative experience - like the flipside of the same coin. I set an intention to use Xyosted 50mg every five days. Days 2,3 and 4, I starting feeling better and better. By day 4, it struck me that I felt like my pre-TRT self. I literally felt like I stepped back ten years in time and just felt "normal". It was like putting on clothes that fit after wearing baggy or tight clothes for a decade.

I know - this sounds esoteric and strange. But, the experience was so moving that my eyes were tearing up like a little b*tch while I was driving my car. What the hell happened? Did my body tell me no-TRT is better than TRT? Or, did I just drop into a goldilocks zone for a few days? I'm not sure, but it really has me thinking.

Disclaimer: by end evening of day four, I was extremely tired and had a ton of muscle aches.

Sorry for taking you on that sappy and somewhat irrelevant journey. But, I thought it was relevant since we were discussing the psychological aspect of TRT.

Possibly some depression? I have had depression for 25+ years. Most of the medications made me lethargic or caused sexual disfunction. Just recently started back on lexapro only m-f. We live in the midwest and the overcast cold weather does not help.
