I tested a few years ago and found that I too have the mutated MTHFR gene expression where consumed folic acid isn't easily converted to folate and thus my homocysteine levels have been elevated.
I've looked around online and found this write-up helpful:

I have to say this again libidooooo is reallyyyyy gooooooooooood :).

finally I feel I am there I am
Not sure is it my body getting used to my protocol but i bit its because of b12. I still remember at one point I was on the b supplements and noticed improvement in libido back then I didn’t read or think it was related. But I guess it is.

This is awesome news. My b12 and folate are always high. Ferritin high. Transferrin rock bottom range. I wonder what is is wrong. Which testing service do you guys recommend for this mutation?

What’s does high b12 and high folate with low transferrin represent, that a person has the MTHFR mutation?

Idk but I do know that the b vitamins are cofactors for each other and maybe I’m deficient. Familiarizing ourselves with vitamins and minerals is likely more productive than tinkering with hormones. Especially if we have half wittingly supplemented with them in the past.

I suspect this is the reason for such mixed results with trt.

Tried panax ginseng for some time and I do feel much more energy and strength. I can say that my endurance increased. I take 2 droppers before bed and feel like 30 in the morning. I used panax ginseng 2000mg also helps boost libido and sex drive with harder erection. So I recommend reading about it, it works not only me with my problem

I am not sure it’s b12 or b6 and why my b6 is crazy high although I am only taking b12. But again my libido really got enhanced, this is not a honeymoon period I stil feel different.

yet ER still need that cialis. I will still look for ways the enhance my libido further but I think I have made a big jump here.

I have tried ginseng 6000mg, after few days it gave me a kick in libido but very short lived just one day.

also it decreased my estrogen and increased my prolactin. As I continue using it my estrogen continued to decrease !!!! And prolactin also kept going up ! So watch out for that. That was before trt and I had nothing with it.
With multiple test that shows this.

When you google b6 and b12, both seems to have an affect in libido.

how solid those info are, I am not sure but Vince said b12 does help.

B12 is super important for a ton of things. Arguably one of the most important B vitamins. For years and years I’ve made it a priority to make sure my levels with at minimum 1000. I’m not sure how it would specifically improve libido, but I wouldn’t doubt it has positive effects through one of the many mechanisms it improves in the human body

So do u take B6? B6 is well known to lower prolactin, which in theory would definitely increase libido. So having an improved libido while taking B6 definitely makes sense

all B vitamins are equally important, for example, niacin (B3) has a great effect on blood circulation
it is prescribed for various problems with memory, concentration, dementia, etc.
accordingly, with niacin, it will be better to circulate blood everywhere, not only in the brain and an erection with it will be harder
